Ride on former STM route 116 (#29-087)

- A ride on the STM route 116 Lafleur/Norman. This route will be abolished on August 26th 2024. I decided to film a ride on this route before it goes away. This was my 1st and last ride on this route. On board STM 29-087, a 2009 Novabus LFS equipped with the EPA 2009 Cummins ISL 250 hp engine and ZF Ecomat 6HP554C 6 speed transmission. Sorry for the cut in the video, my phone just stopped recording for some reason.
This ride is between Terminus Lafleur and Newman to Avon and Ronald streets.
As of August 23rd 2024, this route is no longer in service.

Nice ride! This line is disappearing soon so I’ll try to get a ride on it once. It’s going to be really tough to find an old bus though…
It’s always going to be either a 3rd or 4th gen. But the chances are never 0% for a 2nd gen. 26-039 had its final moments on this route
@@bigfootsmelchungus Yeah it was a Frontenac bus that was in LaSalle, which is kind of rare to see.

Nice ride on 29-087! I personally like these buses better over the new hybrids.
Yeah I was happy I at least got this over a hybrid. The bus is also very smokey I noticed
Yeah same, that's why I prefer to also post some rides on 3nd gen buses, and not only on 2nd gen ones.
