The breakbeats are soo good and with that bass. The drop has that signature Mob flavor. Was hoping it would change gears a little more throughout the track and the looping piano wasn't doing it for me. But, I'm here for it man, I'm sure this slaps live! Love everything you guys put out.

This is definitely different and I dig it. You guys had a real sound for the last 3 records, speed and general intensity were the main differences between the 3 so its nice to hear something genuinely different. Not that I don't adore the old sound but still.

I do feel like it was made with those of us coming up on electronic music in the late eighties to nineties in mind. I can understand it isn't for everyone, but this has been on my repeat list since it dropped, I'm a sucker for a good break beat.

The only bad thing i can say about it, is that you put the bar way too damn high up with Drink the Sea :D
I have been around since Drink the Sea. I do like everything what came after Drink the Sea, but nothing takes me away like DtS does. It might just be the best "Electronic Music" album that has even been produced. I was always hoping they would return to that kind of style, just for one or two songs maybe. But ofc I highly respect all of their work. It is their story, the can do whatever they want. Still thrilled for the complete Album.

@ Also something worth mentioning: I listened to DtS mostly during my teenage years. Teenage years music always has a special place in most ppls heart :D Btw listening second and a third time with good headphones def gives me vibes!

@@schobbahannes23 true, and even if it wasn't a teenage thing, people often like the old stuff more. Nostalgia is powerful. Especially when things are so fucked up as they are nowadays. But i still can't complain, i'm happy to listen to anything they make, and glad they're still active!
I have to admit, this song and the previous album didn't really do it for me. However, I have great respect for them experimenting with new music styles and evolving over time as the artists themselves grow and their tastes change, instead of pumping out the same crowd-pleasing stuff for decades. That, in my eyes, is a true hallmark of passion and creativity, and they shouldn't get enough praise for it.
@@RevRyukin7 they've never really gone into cold techno, so it is definitely something new. This reminds me of something like FSOL's Accelerator album. I say it's a welcome experiment.
