Alex Atala seems like that good looking, cool guy that just keeps on winning. He's known all around his hometown and recognized by both old and young people. Like, dude just speared 2 fishes right after diving in the ocean
Ubatuba!! :D I was in that town as a kid. I'm half Brazilian, but brought up in Sweden and I'm more Swedish than anything, but it was great watching this video. I always become extra anxious to go back by material like this haha,
I am so lucky to have a native Brasilian girlfriend. Watching this video makes me even more excited to visit Brasil with her!!! It seems so diverse and people there seem so friendly and laid back.
The reason why Brazilians have a hefty lunch is that, traditionally, we come from people who work the land (or cattle) from the crack of dawn on. For instance: in farms, all over the land, breakfast is at 6 AM and lunch is at 10 AM. Hardworking, forehead sweating good people made us who we are today. And I’m very proud of it!
@@absoledge, nowadays and in towns and cities lunch time is almost always at 12pm. Later during the weekend. But farmers will still eat lunch around 10am.
Super nice! Brazil has troubles?? Yes, of course but the good outweighs the bad by so much! Thanks for showing a small part of the really good? Come back soon!
Anthony Bourdain and Miss Bourdain also train Jiujitsu I myself also train. I just excited when I see someone practicing the sport I love Muito bom OSS
Its nice to see you guys liked our country. São Paulo is a great place but next time, try brazilian south, Im from the southest part of Brazil, Rio Grande do Sul, and Im pretty sure you would be amazed by our traditional cousine, also the true brazilian barbecue, wich is called "Churrasco", is made here, of course you can find Gauchos (Rio Grande do Sul people) all over Brazil, we "export" them, but here's the official one. Check places like Gramado and Canela at our mountain range. See you guys!
Alex shows that being a nice person is a matter of choice, forget if you won, if you have possessions, just how to be the best at what you do, and the best you can be for people, things work out, no matter others, and Yes we! Hugs friends.
I'm allergic to scallops, but Spanish mackerel, the fish they had at UbaTuba beach...Spanish mackerel is amazing!!!!, the best piece of sushi you will ever have
I keep thinking people want everybody to just hate brazil and just want every show to be violence, corruption and poverty which ding ding EVERY COUNTRY HAS BRazil also has a flourishing music culture, food, art and amazing landscapes and is actually doing well compared to most of latin america... But every body likes to talk about the bad, not about the good
I think it's pretty safe to say that anyone who's got a pinball machine, a big ass balcony, a BBQ grill built in the kitchen and a freakin' boat sure is living la vida loka
ISN'T the TV SHOW FROM USA? wonder why he didn't mention MEXICO when he try it. By the way i live in the USA. I Don't what USA YOU TALKING ABOUT. THE BEAUTY OF GASTRONOMY IS THAT ITS DIVERSE. PEACE
I'm glad ya'll enjoyed our beautiful city of São Paulo, where else on this side of the planet can you see whites, blacks, asians and mixed race people eating and enjoying life together? We are a diverse fucking place, and we're proud of it. Yeah, we've got issues, but we're sorting it out, little by little. In 20-40 years when shit starts going down in Europe and in the US, I predict another massive wave of European and American immigrants arriving in Brazil... and you'll all be welcome! Bring your daughters.
No, Its difficult. The european immigration to Brazil will never starts again. Africans, bolivians and the people of Haiti will be the next generation of brazilians...
Logo, em sua frase "I guess you don't (negativo) live in Brazil" o question tag correto seria "do you?", logo - "I guess you don't live in Brazil, do you?".
Cenira Linhares Unfortunately you're right. The new immigrants differ very much from the ones that arrived with our grandparents/ancestors. However I have personally tried to change this scenario. I have recently (actually just now) established a refugee camp in my very own backyard. My camp is prepared to welcome female Ukrainian refugees from the age of 18 to 38, upon approval and analysis of pictures.
we all love the true north ! haha, just kidding , bust mostly all foreigns(excluding Argentinos.haha) in Brazil are seeing with admiration and treated with respect. After all brazilian are known for being really social.
The franks are pretty bad at showing emotional reactions to the food they eat. They could make it a bit more clear how good they think it is with at least a smile, ya know? Specifically the part at Macoto.
if you want to know you have to try it. I like that they don't over complicate things, since facial expressions could be offensive or misleading even immature or disrespectful at times it's better to be composed unless it really does overwhelm you. like the food critic in ratatouille
what's wrong with this people. first you write San Paulo, after you write Sao Paolo on the subtitles. On the description you got right... São Paulo. Please be more professional..
Mocotó is beef bone marrow, not the soup itself. It can also be used in a sweet jam, "geléia de mocotó". Say it with me: maw-caw-taw. Same sound as in "awe". See that little accent on the last sylable? It means it's the strongest one. Again, repeat after me: maw-caw-TAW. Also, "the ultimate guide to BRAZIL": a tour in two cities in São Paulo state. Yeah, right. When are foreigners stop saying "I've been to Brazil! I stayed in Rio and/or São Paulo for three days!"? It's a stupidly large country, at least make an effort of travelling around it.
"In Brazil it is hard to find a place where people are mixed" My God, where did that come from? It is actually the polar opposite... Maybe for the usual paulistano experience that may be true - São Paulo is a cultural island in Brazil, much like NY in the US - but this is very far from the truth in the rest of the country...
Alex is like a polar opposite of Gordon Ramsay. So much positivity!
Ho is Gordon Ramsey? 😂
Finally something about Brazil!
Brazil looks amazing
***** i guess your glass is half empty then
***** name a country that doesn't have that
Brazil is amazing but this isn't the real Brazil
yes it is there is many good things in brazil and many bad things, both are the real brazil. Luckily these guys were able to enjoy the good side
Are you Brazilian?
Alex Atala seems like that good looking, cool guy that just keeps on winning. He's known all around his hometown and recognized by both old and young people. Like, dude just speared 2 fishes right after diving in the ocean
There's a Netflix special on him, watch and you'll learn he's a bad ass.
Latinoamerican VIBES ❤️

lol, you pretty much go to any local market enough and they treat you like family.
The franks are pretty bad at showing emotional reactions to the food they eat. They could make it a bit more clear how good they think it is with at least a smile, ya know? Specifically the part at Macoto.
I don't think you've watched previous episodes, they show emotions lol.

I know it really is inconsequential, but it bugs me when people wear hats or baseball caps indoors. Take off your hat, stay awhile.
Jiu jitsu practicing fancy chef, how original.
