After the presidential election Putin will probably announce a mass mobilisation,but again,these troops are unlikely to get much training and the vehicles to transport them are currently being destroyed faster than Russia can replace them.

$100 billion for the Ukraine war. That would probably pay for 6 or 7 Gerald Ford class aircraft carriers. There is a Wiki article from 2018 saying the cost was about $13 billion per ship. So $100 billion for a war that will likely result Ukraine having to cede some territory for a temporary peace is a huge cost.
If Putin wins in Ukraine he will take the next 3-5 years to build up his military. He has just increased his military budget by 70% to a massive 40% of Russia's GDP and placed his whole country to wartime manufacturing. Why? the Republicans are blocking aid to Ukraine - have any of these experts thought about what will happen if Ukraine loses and falls to Russia:
1) Europe will be destabilized as a result and many countries will also come into Russia's sphere of influence (including Germany, France and Italy) -> the number of allies in the world is decreasing
2) China will feel emboldened to attack Taiwan since the USA is weakened and will also expand its influence in the Indo-Pacific.
3) In addition to the lost (allied) democratic states, other opportunist autocracies such as Saudi Arabia, Turkey... will also turn away from the USA.
If the Republicans think these changes do not affect the USA, then they should think about what a world dominated by China and Russia means for the USA in the long term (sales markets, raw materials, loss of the dollar as the reserve currency).
