Khuda Gawah is not a movie, it is an EPIC of giant proportions. What scale of production, direction, music, lyrics, dialogues, cinematography and megastars. Amitabh and Sridevi did fabulous in extremely difficult and challenging roles. I don't know why Filmfare decided to award Anil and Madhuri as best actor and actress that year for Beta. Anil and especially Madhuri were very good in Beta but it wasn't comparable to the challenging roles and performances in Khuda Gawah.
Partiality was the reason. Madhuri is a great dancer for sure but not the best actress. Sridevi did well recent years also. She was always an Star and even best actress.
Being a. Rajput from India and having a Pathan as a partner in business, I cried 100 times when watching this movie, people need to learn history that Rajputs and Pathans from Afghanistan have fought together to save Humanity 🙏🏼
