In 1980, I was in Korea, that's what you had. I was in the bathroom and this lady was squatting right beside me. Had me thinking I must have made a mistake and walked into the wrong restroom. Many parts of the world only had family bathrooms. It was new to me at the time.

I can’t imagine having to use a toilet like this. The Asian squat is a thing almost everyone can do in Asia. We don’t have a squat here in America because 95% of us couldn’t stand back up!

For all those who are complaining about the type of toilet, This is the most hygienic type of toilet that you can build in your house today. It has zero body contact with the toilet unlike the usual toilet water closets. Also it support your motion and even aids in performing one of the healthiest Squat ❤️ sitting pose for humans.
Benefits of squat position during pooing: Less straining, less time to go, lowers abdominal pressure, less effort for bowel emptying, might ease constipation and prevent hemorrhoids, stretches muscles around hip joint especially adductor magnus and proximal hamstrings! Very good for children with additional needs (such as cerebral palsy) if you manage to train them with support.

For any non Asians watching this IF you can believe this, as late as 1997 the country of Japan still had these in-floor toilets in most of their hotels. The 'flusher latch' was also on the floor. Meant for the user to step in it in order to make it actually flush.
In March of that year (1997) Japan's hotel workers went on strike. One of the things they lobbied for was an end to them having to clean in floor toilet's. They argued and very rightfully so, that cleaning in floor toilets forced them to come in close proximity to human waste b/c the only way for them to clean the toilets (at that time) was for them to squat down low to the floor, too!!
Their act of defiance us what ushered in modern floor level toilets that are now common today.

*This massive discrepancy exists even though there is no gender bias in the law favouring females.*
Whether you like it or not, the welfare system forces you as a man to pay for single women, many of whom, as you know, are degenerates.
Without welfare and all kinds of affirmative action promoting women in the workplace, women can't support themselves. The feminist welfare state just distributes the burden of taking care of women to all working men. So you, as a man, have the burden of financially supporting these women without any benefit in return, women who will berate you and call you an incel if you disagree with how stunning and brave they are.
Western liberalism forces you as a man to fund the lifestyle of women drinking, sleeping around with a new man every night, popping anti-depressants like candy, and going to the women's march on weekends to whine about how oppressed they are. You're subsidizing all that.
Women being free is not free. Someone has to foot the bill. /
*Islam says, no. No one gets a free ride. If you want to be taken care of, you have to be in a marriage as an obedient wife. And if you don't want to be an obedient wife, go be a burden on your father, who didn't raise you right. And if you don't want to live under your father's roof, go live in the wilderness or beg on the streets. See how long you last there.* .

These were common in the late XIX century when indoor plumbing started to be a thing, but the modern toilet was not fully developed/cheap enough.
    A few misconceptions against them:
1- They do not smell, because they have a siphon (air trap) below ground.
2- They do not splash, because the body of water is small and also quite separate from you.
    A few misconceptions for them:
3- They may look to provide a better position, but exactly the same can be achieved in any standard toilet with a little footbench if you are interested in that.
4- As for hygiene, if you consider this more hygienic, that just reveals that you do not wash afterwards. Also hygiene here is related to your aiming abilities ;)
5- I guess "comfortable" is not a word in your vocabulary.
6- That seat with a cutout, is basically a ROMAN toilet from the 300BC!
Finally, I find it astonishing that these still exist in the XXI century! in a modern looking apartment!
But well... the art of evacuating varies notably from country to country and is developed in isolation due to its taboo nature...

      *Let's offer a course on Western/liberal marriage:*
_*Lesson #1: Don't ever argue with your wife because that is emotional abuse, and she will call the police and accuse you of hurting her. Police don't need any evidence to arrest you, so enjoy your stay in prison.
Lesson #2: Don't you ever dare to deny your wife having sex with others. You don't own her. If you're a real man, you'll help her find a boyfriend or two and let them use your bed while you sleep on the couch.
Lesson #3: Be fair to each other, but remember, she can accuse you of abuse at any time and destroy your life.
Lesson #4. Your wife is tilth for all men (and women). They will use her as they please. Enjoy your married celibacy.
Lesson #5: If your spouse wants to change "their" gender, don't argue. Just be happy for "them," you transphobe.
Lesson #6: Want a divorce? Don't want a divorce? Doesn't matter. She can leave you for any reason or no reason at all. She gets to take at least half your wealth and custody of your children, and you pay all her legal fees. She might even end up living with her boyfriends in the house you bought with your kids.*_ /

Раньше туалеты были вообще на улице,но тем не менее почему- то пожилые ( старики) не жаловались,до ста лет живут.
    Так что вы зря смеётесь.
    И согласно комен.что это гигиенично.❤
