I would really love if the way that Rahkshi of Fear, Sleep and Darkness look like is because their powers make their victims see them like this, while their normal forms would be the 2003 versions.
17:50 dodge is a power because it allows the rakshi or makuta to dodge any projectile or blow "no matter how swift or powerful". When you think about it that's OP af because the user would be effectively untouchable

The makuta have so many op abilities, yet we never really see them use these powers to the fullest. They're always like "not bad. You made me use 10% of my power." Maybe the makuta could have won if they used 100% of their power
I like to think that makuta have to train to properly use their powers, and since they're so arrogant and overconfident, they don't really train, and as such they have trouble using their powers to the fullest
@@godzillacc5I like to imagine that the Makuta do have access to all these 42 powers, but they can only use like 2 at the same time, and switching also takes immense effort. It's also fun to imagine that perhaps each Makuta has powers they favor or specialize in. Meanwhile the Toa have just mastered one singular element, and can use it to it's full potential without the need to worry about switching or multitasking.

Like how icarax was highly skilled at using several of his powers but when he was crushing the codrex via magnetism he had to defend physically from the other makuta and he shut that power off when he tried to teleport
Thing was, their plan required them to lose. If they'd fought at full power they would've killed the Nuva and would not have been able to have Teridax become the Great Spirit.
Just note that *aaaaall* those abilities and shit? They're beyond OP enough that if Bionicles stayed popular and entered the anime realm, they're likely to just flatout *_destroy_* the Trinity. They're just *_ridiculous._*
I forgot about bionicle for years and I was overjoyed to see that MOC building has only improved since then. This series is great for keeping up with new builds, and the rahkshi set is possibly the best set I've ever seen.
for rahkshi it really depends, like for more physical changing abilities like the shapeshifter it kinda has to be a focal point of the moc while the elasticity is a good example of a power that would be more subtle with a couple limb extension things
I always believed these videos should have used more pics from diferent angles of the mocs featured. I really like the blue moc and I wish we could have seen that noodle arm from a diferent angle for example.
i assume that the dodge one has the power to slow time and move fast while in danger to allow him to dodge far more efficiently, making him nearly unbeatable unless you trick him into dodging into another attack

I saved a ton of these photos on instagram and I was inspired to make my own Rahkshii

We didn’t get 33 rahkshi if there’s like 40. The original six and the heat vision Rahkshi from Bionicle Stars
There is 42 in all. We technically got 7 including Stars in 2010 so we didn't get 35 of the rahkshi in set form.
That first Rahkshi looks like Phyrexian Metamorph from Magic: the Gathering which is another shapeshifter
