My grandparents had 13. They both worked regular jobs during the day and had side jobs in which all of us helped them with. I was born 6 months after her last child so I was there a lot. We did construction cleanup.. house and office cleaning and grandma was caregiver to elderly clients (one at a time). We also swept and mopped the laundry mat for extra 3 bucks for treats
