Gemmy 2005 Life Size Animated Singing Santa

Made by Gemmy Industries in 2005.
Originally sold at Wal-Mart for $49.84.
I have had this Santa since he was first at Wal-Mart so long ago, I just had yet to make a video until now. He was actually my first ever life size Gemmy decoration. He still has all his original packaging and continues to work perfectly today! This is the African American version, as you can tell.

My friends grandma has this but the pins that hold him up came out so he leans over not all the way but pretty far down

I have this exact one (from 2005 as well) but he no longer dances. Everything else works though (music/singing/head movement) I think there might be a small gear that broke inside as he was swinging/dancing. Do you know if there are mechanical replacement parts available? I hate to throw him out. He is adorable!

Balenciaga I know Gemmy sometimes has replacement parts for their products, but when I asked about replacement parts for my other dancing Santa (the 2004 version, actually) they said they no longer carried parts for it. :( I know what you mean, though, I would never throw my broken one out either. At least you have one, though!

@@OniPlex actually it could be a belt! If u hear a buzzing sound that means the belt is bad. U can get them at ace hardware for a really cheap price and they are actually called o-rings or if u dont hear any noise than it could be a split gear, motor, or speed dial issue. But if it's a board issue it can not be fixed.

This version has the flat black base. I do also have the version with the regular base, but unfortunately the Santa itself is broken :(

I think this version is pretty rare, not as rare as the waving version, but still rare, but wow, he was only $50?! Nowadays knowing Gemmy, he’d probably be around $150-$200

Coltonandgen because it was cheaper to make this stuff back then now that places and factories are trying to make the plastic with out polluting the air it's more expensive to make them because it's more dangerous for the people the manage the machines making the plastic
