Your yards are going to be so beautiful when everything is in bloom! I miss the Hydrangeas and Rhodys we had in western Washington- I think our climate is a little to harsh for them. The fountain is really pretty. Great garden area and raised beds!I I 'm not sure I know what a Trillium is- Cant wait to see everything. Oh by the way I'm doing the same thing-dating my garden tour videos to see how I planted and how the plants did this year. 🌱🌿🥕🧄
The hydrangeas always seem to get snacked on by the deer. I hope this year, they will have more blooms.... I really need to figure out the fence situation, once I finish my greenhouse. Tonight I was looking and talking to family about the idea of just totally rebuilding the roof. The wood that we were planning to attach the new plastic to, it has rot in a lot of it... Might just make a whole new roof structure. The projects never end! Trillium is a really interesting flower. It might do well for you, since you get a lot of snow. I can't wait to follow along with your garden as summer comes closer and closer. :)
If that peony doesn't flower again this year, dig it up and replant so the root is no more than two inches below the soil line. They don't like to be too deep and won't flower. If the root is large, you can divide it as well, which might help.
Thank you for the helpful tip! Last year i dug up, I would guess, probably about 10 peony's, and the roots on them were massive. like as thick as my arm. I gave them to a couple of my friends. I will do what you said, and see how it does this year. If no flowers, then I will dig up and replace closer to the soil line. Thank you
Pretty well the same weather now as we have here in the uk and about the same growth rate this year, which isn't always the case. Enjoying following how this all develops. Warm wishes from Millionaire Paul 👋
I’ve also got a tulip tree and a dove tree (I know it as the handkerchief tree!) in pots waiting to decide on a place to plant them. Be warned, the tulip tree will grow huge. I’ve just subscribed and look forward to seeing more of your garden videos. I have a gardening channel too that you might like - check it out!
Thank you so much for following along with my channel. I have subscribed to you also. It’s too funny how we both love our kitty cats, and include them in our channel. My logo is ShopCat, and Lucy who I feature in some of my shorts and videos. The tulip tree and, as you called it, handkerchief tree, aren’t very well known here in Canada. I’m looking forward to watching your videos tomorrow. It’s eye opening seeing gardens from other parts of the world.
@@TheMistakenGardenIt really is great to make links with gardeners from different parts of the world! And to find out more about their cats! I’ll be checking out some of your other videos so that I can properly meet ShopCat and Lucy. Thanks for connecting!
Wow, you have an amazing yard! It is just full to the brim with all your plants. Looking forward to seeing the blooms! Have a lovely weekend :)

Thank you so much Paul. I can’t wait for you to see my garden develop into a beautiful oasis! 🥰 yes we have the same weather as the uk.
My rhododendrons bloom pretty late! Its nice to have an earlier variety
It really is! You should come up to the Mount Arrowsmith Rhodo club sale this year and snatch up a couple more that bloom early in the year!
What’s in those white bags on your driveway? New project?
It’s all my compost. I bought 20 bags to the court yard and front garden in front of the court yard.
@@TheMistakenGarden oh very cool.

@@PlasBachGarden my TH-cam name is a play on words also. I live in on road called ‘mistaken rd’ and I’m the only house on it 😂
@@TheMistakenGardenI did wonder how the name came about - love it!
