Just so you're aware (because I only learned of this recently too!), vinegar is an acid and baking soda is a base, so combining them cancels them out and makes them neutral (like water), so they're not super effective when used together to clean. Using them separately may yield better results!
Some people use them at the same time for their garbage disposals and drains because they believe the bubbling causes gunk to be knocked off the sides of the drain, but it's pretty up in the air whether it works or doesn't. It does for some, doesn't for others, who knows
When I burned my pan, I scrubbed it with baking soda and got the char off but I think the stain will never leave. The nonstick coat also is pretty pitiful now lol
I use baking soda + lemon juice (because it smells better than vinegar and also neutralizes smells when necessary) to clean a lot of things and it's the reaction that helps. Itsy true that if you mixed them in water like she did they pretty much neutralize and it wouldn't work, but if you apply the baking soda dry on the spot and pour the acid over, the reaction helps remove it. Once it gets bubbly you can scrub it off and clean it. I never burned a pan so not sure it would work for that but I use it to remove greasy stains on baking sheets or grills, and specially to clean the inside of bottles or any place that gets wet often and accumulates calcic residue and/or mold. It also helps to clean the outside part of the pan.

came here to recommend barkeepers friend for burnt on grease. if that doesnt work, carefully use a razor. It’s how i got my sec deposit back with a very gross stove

If you still have trouble with the pan, I recommend bar keepers its a great option and gets your pan to almost brand new :33
Annika for the pan: try to use less water or else it dilutes the solution of baking soda and vinegar to much! You could also just try to put a heaped spoon of baking soda and a few drops of vinegar until you form a paste and then rub that paste on the burnt part it should help (and then you can adjust with more baking soda or even a few drops of soap).

Bake baking soda until it becomes 1/2 the amount you started, make a paste with a litter soap and water, and try scrubbing that on your pan.

I mean you can use oven cleaner BUT hear me out. It might ruin your pan. I know you don't like the "stained" look but some of my best pans have the "well used" look. It doesn't affect it's cooking abilities. It gives it a certain charm to know that that is the go to pan. Also if there are things you think are going to do that again you can use that one.

Ok, mix baking soda and dishsoap, and add some cleaning vinegar
Just an FYI, you typically don't ever want to use harsh abrasives, steel wool, etc on nonstick pans. It ruins the coating and things will stick to it (even if it's ceramic).( Also, def not good for your health.) You typically just have to get a new one unfortunately. You could try a cast iron, carbon steel, or stainless steel and learning how to cook with them. Saves you money over time too. Haha
Edit: also, tysm for sharing your life. Love the videos and how relaxing they are for my hectic work life rn.

I have seen people put baking soda in a paste form on their pans like, overnight, and it seemed to work well! (also choco hehe)

Chocooo! Your videos make me so happy girl, it's insane. I feel so sorry about your pan, and I thiiink I have the solution: I live in Sweden and I used here something called "tvålull" which translates to steel wool (I know, weird); I did a bit of research and found this option for you "S.O.S Steel Wool Soap Pads", I think they will help you get rid of what's left in the pan, if they're anywhere near as good as in Sweden, they will change your life. And now I'm officially an old lady who gives advice on cleaning kitchen stuff.
I hope you get to see my comment I had so many pans that would get those dark burnt oil stains and one day decided I needed to stop buying new ones when it would happen and seriously find a solution lol. There’s this paste called the pink stuff and you just rub it on the stain leave it on for a good 5-10 minutes (use nitrile gloves or something though you don’t wanna touch it with hands as it’s an abrasive paste). It’s gonna loosen the burnt grease but you need to put in the elbow grease with a good sponge (I like magic eraser or scrub daddy) and it melts off. Stains that are pretty old might take 2 or 3 applications. Also the pink stuff might seem a bit pricy but lemme tell ya, you literally only need small amount and it comes handy for all future accidents
tbh if the char isnt coming off with that much scrubbing and boiling, it wont come off in ur food tbh

What you need for for that pan is Ajax, it works wonders. Just wet the pan, cover the stain with Ajax powder, put a bit of water on it, but not too much, just enough to wet the powder, and leave it for a while to soften the stain. Then scrub and it should come off easily. If that doesn't work, then that pan will be beyond geting back to what it was, so just buy a new one. 😂
