Another tip for rush hour is be careful not to cross with peoples side mirrors. Sometimes you think you have enough space but end up grazing side mirrors. Slow down if you think the space is too small for a quick pass. Happened to me twice in rush hour.

I did the same route on Sunday 12pm from 87, totalling 16km to CBD..I splashed myself so much muddy water on that stretch you've labelled muddy water stretch. I had to get to CBD sit on a bench and wipe myself down vizuri with some serviettes and my water bottle in hand. It was either I ride fast and splash myself or a car riding besides me splashes me a big one coz they weren't slowing down on that stretch.
