I look forward to your T110E5 video Max. E5 is like trying to learn the Lorraine, except you'll try and tune it. The Lorraine was a French autoloader removed for some reason. It had no armor at all yet it was as big as a Panther, so gave players instant confidence. Yes, I can hit that. The E5 is an uphill training regimen similar to that. It has the torque of a medium which you actually need, for instant sideways turns hoping for a bounce on the nothing armor below. If your not using the insta torque for that your using it to rock back and forth every now and again to mind the massive cupola up top. Once you have it mastered you just float around the map. Same as the Lorraine.
I haven't gone down the stream to flank the hill on Steppes in a Type 4 heavy yet, as I have only just got it. But I have done it in an O-HO, and took out a TS54, Progetto 46 and an Object 252u, just this week. I couldn't be arsed with climbing the hill, and I spawned that side anyway, and it's a nice narrow corridor to advance down
Beautiful tank when it lets me peak building corners and stuff like that! It is usually when the gun works as well. When the game says no....yeah, you need to keep all those angry horses from getting out of the barn, you know...
To be real every heavy tank is a super heavy as top tier in +/-2 MM Gold ammo is a huge gamechanger in some situations ( but those situations are the ones that create crazy results with one guy stomping over everyone )
As someone who three marked this tank years ago, and recently three marked the type 5, I'd recommend you use Rammer, Modified Configuration or Improved Configuration if you have bonds, and Vertical Stabilizer . With Modified/Improved config, the chance of you being ammo racked is severely low. This tank IMO has decent mobility already so it doesn't need to use rotation mechanism, plus it has a pretty decent amount of health for a tier 9 heavy, so hardening isn't desperately needed either. I three marked the M103 a couple months ago with vents, turbo and rammer to try and pump up the dpm and mobility. Sometimes I’d use hardening on city maps to buff my track hp. But I understand your build and hey, if it works it works lol. And it’s nice to see a fellow NA player, Novi_1105
That’s how it was when the maus was one of 3 tier tens. There was no premium ammo, only gold ammo, think it was like 10-15 gold per shell. You couldn’t contend with a maus unless you had an object 704 or t30 on your team.
I'd prefer they just balance the armor and weak points of the tanks and remove premium rounds personally. My type 5 goes from the armor being a bit to tough(unless your tier 10 tds) to paper when someone starts slinging 350+ pen heat at it
Nice video, and nice to see a better gun behaviour (far from perfect though). I got the sudden perma ammorack in the last 7v7 session, while playing in a SConq... Weird, I had to spend all my games with bad dpm.
yeah, I dont get it too, and its not subjective, just check last month hall of fame, people are getting top results in this on par with phase and even concept, E75 doesnt even come close to it. Top guys doing 4.5-4.7k dpg on this. But he is not spamming heat, maybe thats the problem
@@durachoks yes it is a nice tank, at least it was. but it needs heat, so you can pen and most importantly not expose yourself that much, what you need to do without the heat in order to pen. i guess he could play it bit more passively, but then again, you are a heavy tank, so yeah. i can understand people not liking some tanks, not because they are bad, bust just don't fit with them. personal thing. we all have good tanks, that we don't like.
Calling it “poo” is an understatement. I don’t know why WG is making it so difficult for players to grind this tank. Just look at the modules you have to unlock to grind the tank properly.
Just a question, isnt it better to record the match, and then comment it backwards? so you fully focus on your game without talking and then you add your commentary later while editing the video. At least for me, I would play much worse if i had to comment / play at the same time
I actually enjoy American Heavies but my WR is below 48% in all of them but i do well in them. Contrast I really don’t care for Russian Heavies but my WR is above 51% in all of them.
I don't agree with your argument on prem.ammo. This "may" be some reason put on the forefront but has never been valid. As to your explanation re. super-heavy's; there may only be a small number of same level tanks that can't pen weak spots of super-heavy's, sure lights may not but you are playing a heavy, and all super-heavies can be outplayed and thus penned with standard ammo (e.g. shots from side back, circled etc.). The state of super-heavy's is rather bad nowadays because of simple premium ammo spam from all tanks, regardless of their pen since its so much easier to just push 2 and shoot right through heaviest armor. As such, premium ammo is rather illogical and frowned nowadays; well not from monetary aspects i guess.
M103 and T110E5 are both classic tanks that have been completely powercreeped and are just a struggle to do well in. Yes you can have good games but there are just so many better Heavies at 9 and 10...even some at tier 8 are better than these two. *looking at you 703-II-2 and Bazoomba-176*

I got the sudden perma ammorack in the last 7v7 session, while playing in a SConq... Weird, I had to spend all my games with bad dpm.
