As a French person, I am happy that you discovered Guédelon which is an educational and enriching experience. They even rebuilt a water mill. Contrary to what I just read, this is not a waste of time. It is good that a person who visits our historical places realizes the number of years and liters of sweat. Thank you for this video.
Nice one mate. Arte and the BBC made far more exhaustive programs on the subject. That is if you want to dig in... Edit. 700 years later, the roof tiles used at the end of the vid are still used widely in the south of France.

@@bienoubien13 And you what do you know, give me great realisation from the last 25 years... Helping Ukraine or the opening ceremony of Olympic games maybe 😂. What a stupid waste of time, effort and money. France already has enough genuine, original castles. Why not build something really useful like a new hospital? It's the future they need to look to not the past.
Etes vous allé à Guédelon ? ... Ce château fort ne coûte rien à l'Etat ni à la collectivité, il rapporte plutôt de l'argent, ce contrairement à certaines choses que je ne nommerai pas et qui sont bel et bien contemporaines.

Thank you from Barcelona Spain❤

Much love! I enjoyed this very much! 🤜🤛
I love Guedelon in France ! I carried all my young nephews there...
About 2 hours on nice french roads, crossing charming villages.
🇫🇷⚜️French pride⚜️🇫🇷
Merci au frero qui lui recommande ces videos
Great choice of series to follow mate. These ancient skills are so much in demand to restore our heritage, but apprenticeships are so few.

Really happy to discover American reaction with such project. Thanks for your video.
Appreciate you 🤜🤛
I want to go and join in with this project. sounds amazing to do
A hamster wheel only looks like a career ladder from the inside! 😜
Thank you this video was really informative and really interesting. 🤨
I enjoyed this one alot!
In my opinion Guédelon is the only really good thing France have made in the last 25 years!
La seule vraie bonne chose ? vous êtes un peu dur.
Allez faire un petit tour au Puy du Fou par exemple 😉
So you really don't know anything about France

Not wanting to look back sounds very American (north)!
@@arnodobler1096 No I'm not Ameican just a Brit looking to the future. "The past is a stepping stone, not a milestone" (Jules Verne - 1828-1905).
@@first-dooblette6911 Do you know how to build hospitals? Why another castle, France is already a theme park.
