Its always interesting to see other Mario Party games because I grew up on Mario Party 3 and never got the chance to see or play the later ones until college. Playing the bots on hard mode was one of the toughest strategy challenges for me and I loved the 1v1 parts of the story. I wish I could play it again but with my friends.

Mario Party 9 was the best and yes im serious. Theres a good story mode, brilliant minigames, boss rush and like 7/9 maps
Mario party 9 is one of the first games i have ever played,completed and 100%ed and I only agree with the goated the minigame selection and maybe the boss rush, i don't hate any of the boards but i only love magna mine(the second half at least)with the magma spaces and the King boo castle is cool,the donkey kong one is interesting?,but the rest are just ok, i play them but only for nostalgia and variety.
Also the story mode is only a means to play the boards for the first time and farm points and unlock shy guy and kamek,the cutscenes exist and that's about it.
For me 8 is the worst and 5 or 6 is the best

I'm dumb but i only see the upgrade from the dolphin emulator and not from whatever mod you're installing(if that is what you were intending)aside from the fact that they use more recent character icons which let me say i don't understand why they changed them.
apart from the fact blooper still uses the MP8 one(which is confusing since they absolutely have recent icons)but why they changed it in the first place?the MP8 ones are better imo(as icons at least).
The HD texture pack and widescreen hack I used were to make the game look more sharp and higher quality. I do kinda agree that the new icons look worse in comparison to the old ones, but I couldn't find any other HD texture pack so, yeah... and the widescreen was just to make it widescreen during the gameplay and stuff.
These are amazing, the only thing i wish that could be changed is finding 4 people to actually play the game to fill the roles cause seeing cpu kinda takes something away for me, idek why just a small thing... maybe it'd be cool to get your community to play something for these vids then right the script after or have certain roles just to see how they portray em! No hate at all just personal thoughts and suggestions:)
Can't really do that unless I get three other keyboards/controllers for this. I could try netplay but I don't think that exists for Mario Party 8. I recorded this using Dolphin Emulator on my PC.
