I agree, it's too wild and ungraceful. The original traditional steps have more grace to them. Now they're even adding in modern dance steps and it just doesn't go well. Losing the true essence of garba
yeah its annoying. even many of the official garba competitions in western countries do the same. they do that double jump step which is so annoying. the garba from inida is much more natural and appealing to look at. not sure if the indian american kids just copy some assumed 'garba' steps from bollywood or something. It looks like aerobics more than actual dancing lol.
