Iam Brazilian Marcopolo, like Embraer represents a pride of Brazilian industry and engineering present around the world, mainly Latin America, Africa and Middle East but recently have a growing presence in Asia Pacific region across of their model named "Audace 1050" and bought Volgren the australian bus builder company, has a joint venture with Tata motors from India, having a participation the MCI coach from north America and has launched their electric bus model named "attivi" and launched a subsidiary dedicated to railway business named "Marcopolo Rail"
The First non-Latin American review made for this massive bodybuilder. Marcopolo nowadays is the reference in how to make buses in South America. Impressive designs now, but many years ago they got a much much better quality building.
Cool to hear that we're the first non-Latin American review ever made! Wow! That's impressive. They are really good. I hope the word can spread all over the world!
Yahooo😍. Caxias Do Sul. Brilliant. Magne should try driving the 8x2 bus chassis G8. What am noticing is that a lot of multi axle caches do not have rear tag axle steer in Brazil. Much like Tom's review the use of old style drum brakes. Magne, how long back was the video done 10:30 is a bus that we use in South Africa. Intercape group, the largest intercity and coach charter company in the country our troubled country. So good to see it in the factory line.
Your wishes might get heard before you even know it! It’s a nice video coming up! Let’s see when it’s out! I’ve seen these coaches in South Africa as well. Would have been soo cool to go there some time to try the buses over there 😁
@@bussmagasinet1 When you try them there, it is the same as in south africa difference would be that the bus would be RHD and driving on left side of the road similar to UK, Malta, Cyprus basically all commonwealth countries and former UK colonies as well as Japan. What I have noticed is that since 2010 we had rear wheel steer on our tag-axles and disc braking as compared to solid tag axles in Brazil. I still find that odd even on the latest generation buses.
❤I enjoyed every single moment of this video, finally someone released an English version of the Marcopolo factory tour🔥 I even spotted of my home country bus companies(Intercape & Intercity Xpress) what an amazing video🔥Hope to see a video of the Irizar factory in Brazil or Spain😊
Wow! That's extremly exciting! Magne and Tom will go to Jamaica in February on a cruice. Only there for a day. Would love to make a video of the buses there. Can you hook us up with someone that can show us a bus? Contact us on Instagram/bussmagasinet :)
Very interesting and informative. I would imagine that a tandem front axles can be a maintenance nightmare in terms of alignment. Beautiful coaches just the same. I wonder if MARCOPOLO would ever attempt to try out the North American market again? Time will tell.

really nice walkthrough. Amazed by how much work goes into making a marcopolo
Glad to hear! It’s a great factory! Can’t believe we made this! We’re so happy to share it to you all!

Hello from KAMAZ (factory track and bus/e-bus)
Hey! Nice to hear from you! Let’s make a simular video on your factory 😁
@@bussmagasinet1 Our KAMAZ factory is located in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation 😊
I'm Brazilian and I am so proud of this company. Another great video as always.
You can be truly proud 😁😁
Really nice video
gretings from indonesia bus fans
maybe you want to visit bus factory in indonesia?
Nice to hear from you! Would LOVE to visit a Indonesian bus factory. I’m (Magne) flying to Bali in April. Anything close to Bali?
I am based in South Africa and I spotted a bus I frequently take to go home... InterCape, I didn't know they were made in Brazil...
Nice video, finally.
More to come from Brazil this winter 😁
You guys should come to Jamaica one day ! We have buses from VDL, Ankai and Golden Dragon here

Spændende måde at bygge busser på! 😇 Brillerne klæder dig!

Haha! 😎

They are the option for double deckers, as de legal weight limit in the single front axle is just 7t here.
Would have been fun! Unfortunately, US market is not demanding many coaches each year. Marcopolo will have a hard time sell enough vehicles there
@@bussmagasinet1 BEST of mumbai will contract 3000 buses from TATA marcopolo within 4 years
I wanted to see more of the manufacturing and less talking. Great video overall.
💪🚌
Does Scania own Marco Polo?
As you see in the video, Marcopolo is independent body burger builds on all kind of brands
Nope
Intercape is a South African bus company 🇿🇦
I know! So great 😁
Nice bus
