I understand what you mean about Germany, every time I go there, I feel like I am home. Maybe it's because I was born there, and lived there for 9 years as a kid, my old man was in the 1st Royal Tank Regiment over there. The good thing for me living in the south of England I can be there in roughly 9 hours, including the ferry trip across the English Channel. Lovely looking kit, love Tamiya kits.
Nice unboxing. It looks like a great kit. Tamiya kits are some of the best kits out there for the price. I was shocked there were not tire decals on the decal sheet. Thanks for sharing.
I have two of these kits. One will be built as the Jäegermeister car and I also have a set of aftermarket decals to replicate a Wrangler-sponsored car that ran at the Nurburgring in 1978.
Hi Matt. They have 3 different porsches from that time period. The Jagermeister is the orange one.The Martini is the white one, comes in 2 versions, this model and the Flat nose,in white. And the Vailant porshe in green. Got all of those and 3 in the 1-12 scale. When you are surprized by the 1-24 scale, i would say: Spend about ~$150,- and get a 1-12 scale. Here in europe they go between €140 and €170,- so around the 150 dollars. Those 1-12 scale kits will keep you busy for a while. No curbside, rims in 2 pieces, breaded hoses etc etc. Super detailed models realy worth their price tag.
It'd be nice to see this next to the Testors/Fujimi street version of the 911 Turbo you built a while ago. Always loved this particular car in this livery and this brings back some memories for me, because my first ever model car kit was an Airfix/Tsukuda Porsche 934! That was a very simplified model that carried a motor in some cases, nowhere near as well detailed as this Tamiya kit. I think you should enjoy this one and I hope that orange paint isn't too challenging!
This is really a very nice kit, Matthew!👍I built it last year, for the 2022 GT Group Build, and went very well. I also have the Revell version in my stash to build one of these days 🙂
What a clean model. You have come such a long way in your approach to model building. When you took out the black sprue tree and said “I can’t wait to do the decals”. That surprised me, cause way way back you had said you hated decals.
I have the Revell Jager 934 RSR. Yep, it's molded in orange, but I think it's a bit darker than the Tamiya version. What number I'd pick would depend on who was driving it.
OOhhh man youll like this kit although its a cubside it has reallly cool detailing and decals , i really liked building it probably more than the tamiya mustang racecar
Hey man I love your videos and builds. I have been looking for a certain kit. Can you help me or do you have the.... amt proshop baldwin motion camaro? It's the pre-painted and pre-decorated kit. Thanks
It is obvious you are not German by the way you say "Porsche". You say it like an Englischer Knotenkopf but I digress, I know you will make it a beautiful build and do the kit justice even though you butcher the name. Kleben Sie auf, mein Freund, kleben auf!

Awesome kit!! Love the Tamiya kits!
That’s a super cool kit, Matthew 👍👍 I look forward to seeing it built up! Thanks for sharing 👊🏻
I've built the 1/12 scale version with all the details. Tamiya can't be surpassed!
The car ran Dunlops if your interested in picking up aftermarket decals for the tires.
Great looking kit indeed! I've got to get a Tamiya kit never had one but love the cleanliness and high detail
Spent 2 years in Germany. Beautiful country. You should pick up the 1/12th scale of this model.
My favorite PORSCHE...Jagermeister with TURBO POWER !!😍😍😍
Nice unboxing. It looks like a great kit. Tamiya kits are some of the best kits out there for the price. I was shocked there were not tire decals on the decal sheet. Thanks for sharing.
Nice kit Matt!!! I can say that I never tackled this kit. Can't wait to see the finished Porsche.
Thanks for the unboxing Matthew! I’ve heard it’s a very good kit. Look forward to your build up of it.
Love that Jagermifter livery on just about anything!
Ja! It's awesome.
I have built both the large scale and the smaller scale kit both are real good kits
Nice kit
That is a nice looking kit.
When will we see the build Matthew? 👍😁
This kit goes together very well , as do all Tamiya kits. And I also love those flaired guards.
Looking forward to seeing you complete this one. I have one in the stash, your build will most likely get me motivated to start working on it.

Is it built yet? That is such an awesome looking kit. Can't wait to see it when it's done.

I have one of those but it's revell of Germany
Not that kit, but back in the day I had the Tamiya 1/12 version of that car and that was a nice build.
