- Out of the house today, as we head to the local arcade for an afternoon of fun. Groove Coaster continues to be amazingly fun, Emile is an expert table-flipper, and a few glamour shots are made, too.

It was lovely seeing just how happy Mal, in particular, was playing some of those arcade games... it made me smile too. :)

How could you ever hate Moxie.... unless you are not the one using the overpowered ability of boosting your attack every time you defeat an opponent...… oh....is this not what we are talking about.
As a relatively new resident of Maine, it's an acquired taste (which I HAVE acquired, to my surprise).
We need more ppl like Emile in the world. His generosity knows no bounds and at the same time, his wackiness brings smiles to faces everywhere. XD
When you are vlogging it's art. I love seeing you capture all that fun (at the arcade) but it's such a high quality video and you know exactly what to film too. It's like you're painting a scene but making it so vibrant and exciting. And especially when you guys were trying to unstress, the way you captured this is so multi-faceted and interesting.
Watching your Mom with Mal is my favorite! You can tell there is so much love between them.

It's a "Round1" arcade! They have a ton of stuff, including bowling, billiards, karaoke, and more.
And the music used in each vlog is always in the description! This particular one is from C418's latest album. 👍

Yeah I haven't played it yet myself but Mario & Rabbids seems super fun. Love the strategy battle system, music, aesthetic and light hearted tone to the game. Even just the interesting development and awesome team behind it makes me appreciate it all the more. Apparently the DK game that the Beard Bros are tackling on their channel is also as a standalone adventure super neat. Can't wait for the First 20.

I have a cat who is a major headbutter. We call him Buster Hoover Kitten. Buster because he's big, Hoover because he eats like a vacuum cleaner, and Kitten because despite his size, he acts like a kitten.

Kingdom Battle was a suprisingly good. I was skeptical so I didnt buy it until it went on sale at Best Buy for $30, but it is well worth the $60. Have yet to buy the Donkey Kong DLC and finish the last four challenges, but it is a good game.

ohhhh yes, when I saw that title, I was hoping it would have Moxie in it. I am a huge Moxie fan, and since moving from MA to AZ, I miss it so much. And I believe that the Moxie that you can get outside of New England is actually sweeter, though I have no data to prove this
I’ve never heard of Moxie let alone seen any in Wisconsin so I couldn’t say if I’d like it or not.
My sister in law brought a bunch of Moxie when she and my brother came back. It really is distinctively different. It makes a weird float.

I know exactly what Emile means. The taste at first is pretty good, but the aftertaste is very off-putting.

There are phone app version Groove coaster, not sure if it's in your country but there's at least two in Japanese App Store
I have the free one on my phone with quite a few songs, but many of the game-related songs are kinda low-priced paid IAPs
I think Emile should definitely get a job as a stuntman. Maybe somehow someone can animate them. When I write the script for Friendship Island, he can maybe launch an LP of whatever new game gets made from the stories I write, too.
I tried Moxie once. The aftertaste was like some Chloraseptic throat drops I had to take when I had a particularly bad cold last year. That may have had an influence on why I don't like Moxie.
Groove Coaster is an interesting looking game to me as of recent. Perhaps when I go to Tokyo for the Olympics, or if I find an arcade machine here in the states, I might try it out.

It's pretty interesting when there is a country or state that has an item with a very acquired taste to it. We have something in Sweden called "Champis", it is a soda that is supposed to taste like champagne which it obviously doesn't do. I feel like it's kind of an old man thing to drink, i picked up the habit of drinking it from my dad but it's not something my friends drink regularly. According to Wikipedia, it has a taste of apple and grape. There is no other soda I have ever seen to compare to Champis, it might be because making a soda that is supposed to taste like an alcoholic drink is not something parents want their kids enjoying.
I just realized that there is another soda like this one, Pommac. It is also supposed to taste like champagne. But I really dislike Pommac and actual champagne but I like Champis. Basically, Swedes love drinking alcohol flavored things for some reason...
So what does Moxie taste like? I'm not American so I won't know for years.

Emile falling face first is the sort of thing I do all the time. I can stop my self from hitting my face my just putting my hands in front but one day it will go horribley wrong... that wont stop me.

My daughter loves Moxie. It tastes like root beer at first and then the after taste is licorice. Not my favorite.
Moxie is basically what you get when you dissolve a stick of chalk in a plastic bottle of Dr Pepper. It's not terrible but it's not great, and the aftertaste just makes it weird.
I don't get Dr. Pepper from it personally.
