i remember goig to the yard at 10 arches to load with coal for the home deliveries, it was full of hoppers with coal and coke of different types, we would put 80 bags of a hundred weight each on the truck and take to miners and ex miners homes, great video and lovely to see a part of my past in there
My grandparents had free coal as part of his NCB remitances which may have come from there, i have never heard it called ten arches and i was born just along from the Collingwood as was, my grandfather farmed Manor Springwell and Highwoods farms at one point, and i had names for the shunters on the mineral line that crossed the road and under the mainline just along from the arches.
Nice to see a touch of Claas but nothing runs like a Deere .. besides the bailey trailer is no colour match with a claas. Being green in needs to go on a big green mean machine
You try to keep the chin up Joe, i sense you are feeling a little under pressure and i can see why, with two good men leaving you. Not because you don't treat them well, just that they have other plans. I do hope you can get a good man or two to help you out and give you a break.

@@philsteele7151 the viaduct is Bolton 10 arches as far as I know.
