I'm from South Africa, and I would recommend if Rug could come and visit South Africa. Because only is the dessert amazing but so is the traditional food. One ice cream he should try is called Tin-Roof. Best ice-cream ever

Hey rug! I am from indonesia, and I recommend trying nasi padang! It's spicy, and if you don't like spicy you can try Soto betawi! It's a type of soup that is mixed with chicken, egg, and some rice!

South African here! So sad you didn't get to try the milktart or the rest the food, but I hope you'll go back one day. Definitely try the bobotie if they have it! That's probably one of my favourite South African dishes. And if they have koesisters (which is more specific to the Cape Malay region), definitely try that.

I know you have tried Indian food before and you found it spicy. It actually depends on whose preparing it. But you must try Indian Desserts like Rasmalai , gajar ka halwa, gulab jamun , suji ka halwa, etc.
