As to it being seasonal, I too associated it with the Christmas period but I think it was only that it was in the UK chart in November 1975 that I associate it with this time of year. Interestingly the version Maddy Prior did with Status Quo was also in the top 50 in November, though 21 years later in 1996
Pleased you recognised that they are real, human, harmonies. I've been asked in the past if I use an electronic vocal harmoniser, which I do not, but I do accept they may benefit to some solo performers, playing live, who wants to replicate an arrangement that they may be able to produce by multitracking on a recorder.
Hi Geoff, my 'Studio'' is a home studio run solely by myself. All BT's along with the audio and video editing I produce myself. I have some 'selfies' but mostly invited guests to perform (I'm so lucky to have such talented friends) for pure enjoyment. So looking at your productions I know first hand how much effort it takes to produce a music video, So keep up the great work Geoff. Looking forward working my way through your videos. Very best wishes to you, John.
I've already had a nosey around your Cubbyholestudio and note that we both use Premiere Elemants for editing and camcorders from Panasonic. I also note your interest in the Shadows as I've covered 8 song by Cliff and the Shads though I don't do instrumentals th-cam.com/play/PLQToCl6QcRlVhmlZFxfYdoF7Iqcr2wbQZ.html
