Just to add on to what Aerym is saying... being a Blacksmith is NOT very efficient as I believe it requires a Arcanite Skeleton key which requires acanite bars to make... $$$. Engi or Rogue is the best way.

it may not work for druids, but i found that cho is able to be rooted in place from the hunter wing clip talent. Might assist in making the fight smoother again.
Yup! Feral Charge and Bash are great tools to buy some distance/time to fix your positioning against Cho. I didn’t use them in the vid but I should have at several points.

I have my druid in HotW spec with pretty decent gear (5x T1, some spelldamage, mindtap talisman/smoking heart of the mountain). Would you say the balance spec is mandatory or would this suffice? I have full tank gear to survive opening the door.
I wouldn't say that Balance is mandatory but it helps a lot with efficiency. As long as you have a decent mana pool/regen you can probably do this the same way but it will take a bit longer (though I only had 150 spell power, if yours is much higher it might not take that much longer) ^_^
@@aerym5547 Thanks for your answer, I have only like 75 spellpower. Guess ill try it with HotW spec to see how I cope, nearly 7k mana unbuffed also does something. Maybe my fire reflector also helps abit with incoming damage.

The Shammy might be possible with enough patience (and I mean A LOT of patience). What I usually did was; if I saw the Priest or Shammy I reset the instance with a second character or I would simply run out and reset.
Is there a spot to target the king's add to pre-emptively know if you should reset the dung or not? Or do you have to open the door and walk all the way to the boss to know
That’s the final piece to the puzzle imo. I wonder if there is a mod or something that let’s us know, otherwise the only way to know is to see his weapon just after passing the captain.
@@aerym5547 Try to use engy 'Ornate Spyglass' (doesn't require profession) - it draws entities in its sight. If it does the same through the wall - you can target literally anything in the dungeon if you know where to look.
@@aerym5547 Very late reply but I figured out a way to do this using the ornate spyglass + the Weakauras addon. Stealth to the ramp before the locked door and use the spyglass in the direction of the King's room and target Cho'Rush. I've got a Weakaura that shows Cho'Rush' full model if i have him targeted so I can see what weapon he's wielding which allows me to save the target dummy / seaforium charge. The arena is still considered to be indoors so roots won't work during the fight :( - While it's not shown in the video I started to use Feral Charge to interrupt his casts while also rooting him. It's not the most essential tool to have but it can help in a pinch. I guess if you're really crazy you could also use the Gnomish Net-o-Matic Projector but I can't say I've tried it myself :P
I couldn’t make it work more than 5% of the time without charge. You’d probably need to use the highest level dummy to buy enough time or have a full tanking set on. You might also have a chance with the gnomish mind control cap. I’ve never tried those though!
You don’t have to if you don’t want to. That hound has aggro’d about once in 10 fights when the King’s pathing breaks and he walks out a little. I did it here for safety and completeness.
I believe there are other equivalent farms a Druid could do solo ie princess/Mara, RFD shards (depending on your server economy of course). But if you can successfully sell items like the Elven Ring then I’d say this is a good contender. For example: I get about 2 kills an hour, 20-30g per run. So about 50g per hour which is ok. If I can sell the ring/staff/mace for 25g that can jump up to 100g/hour (not to mention treant’s bane). You also get 3 potential book spawns and the King can drop a random book too. Lastly, and I know this is a long reply, for every run you don’t get the mage you can kill the packs of carrion swarmers and Mol’dar, which will increase your efficiency if you can do it in 12 mins or less (instanced lockouts). Tl:dr - decent gold farm without selling. Very good if you can sell.

you can also use a Limited Invlunerability Potion to open the door, or take one after to ensure you get away. It allows you to unlock while invuln

Ahh hmm. I’d say pre hot at the ramp and sprint up to the door (in stealth) to have at least Regrowth going.

do u know if it's possible to feral charge charge the ghosts to get up to the highground?
It didn't work when I tried it, LoS and range issues. You can use the ghosts to charge forward though, instead of using Dash.
