Gina has a beautiful voice...and I'm sure he portrayal got more confident as she went along. Mr. Karimloo was mesmerizing as always (even under the cloak).
@@laurendicicco6283it actually did work lol Considering Christine’s while talented is insecure and fearful Especially considering what’s happening in the story currently It worked
to be fair, the next line is when she says 'to the point where words run dry'. So her not having the words for the sentence before actually makes a lot of sense haha@@laurendicicco6283
I feel like it's more of Christine freaking out (when she realizes who it really is) momentarily and reeling herself back in because she realizes she has a show she needs to do
She plays the end at the beginning. Granted she is new to the role, but she's supposed to be playing the role of someone who wants to be there, only figuring out later this isn't Piangi. In general, she tends to over act. I've seen the Final Lair and the entire first act boots. JMO.
right? the whole song is about how they both wanna be there and just teasing each other. I have seen so many phantoms , and only one Christine in this part before she bolts , touch the head of the cloaked man and acted like ok now I found out this is not piangi and it is phantom ( because of the mask ) so now I'm gonna run away. all the other performances that I saw they just run at the end of their verse and it doesn't make any sense. how you found out it's not piangi?! ( I keep lying to myself yeah he stopped doing the accent or yeah she touch him and found out but tbh there's no way she can know it with just touching his body because Phantom specifically asked piangi to lose weight so he be even more like him. I truly wished they all played it like that christine and just touch the mask before running away.)
Ramin and Gina are one of my favourite duos for Phantom. I am so happy to have come to your channel and found this video today❤️

ooooo exciting
3:26… she forgot the words and jumped back in 😮
I feel like it could've been an acting choice but who knows, maybe she did have a brain fart there 🤷♀️ either way, it's effective and it worked imo!

She does act that - at the beginning. Her demeanour changes as the scene progresses, just as it does with sierra
