Btw mombie IF you didn't know Omni NOW deals MUCH MORE bleed by tap pouncing ( it's when you pounce and IMMEDIATELY dismount ) so it's better to always tap pounce and I'm pretty sure it's an intentional balance decision as it makes Omni take much more skill and skill when fighting an Omni as you can't just always run up to a tree and knock a Omni most of the time, as now you've got to be faster knocking an Omni. Also there's a good way of taking on cera as omni, you see cera bleed resist is best when it has full health and the LOWER it's HEALTH gets the LOWER it's BLEED RESIST so what you got to do is constantly holding the pounce and when it gets about 50% you can tap pounce and it deals the exact amount of bleed that it deals to other things normally
thx mate ♥ I heard about the tap pounce, but, I don't know the difference in dealing damage. so, I can't say which is more viable in what moment. in general tho, cera shouldn't be touched by a random group. I am an average cera player and still managed to fight off 5-6 omnis pretty easily. to get a cera down to 50% needs a lot of long pounces or many bites. so, many chances to get hit by the cera which needs 2-3 hits in return. I know that a player (or even a group) of nappns level is a very different story, but, let's be real, you barely met such a group. 90% of the omnis I met are average players like myself. and specially omni is very skill based

But the thing about tap pounce is, you need to timing your pounce effectively for good landing, and If your enemies know your just gonna tap pounce because you did it too often, they Will predict your landing and they Will cerainly landed bite on you. I'd say don't use tap pounce strats too often when dealing with enemies that can adapt to your playstyle.

thx mate ♥ yeah, most omnis these days are very relaxed and nice mates. there were also different times tho. update 3 was full of cannibal omnis. that was before they couldn't eat (diet) them anymore. update 5 were less cannibals, but many rambo omnis who attacked everything that moved. in update 6 omnis were almost completely gone and those who are back seem to be the nice part of the omni player base

The worst part i think when update 6 hit the the Isle. Imagine playing the only Omni on the whole server, yup that was me when update 6 came 😂

Official server have been so goofy for a WHILE. They are the players who are good and play by the “rules”, and the players who say “official server are no rules, we can do whatever we want”. Those types of player are the ones that ruin the game and mixpack, and body, like that stego who at least briefly did it. Officials have to do something about the chaotic gameplay lol. Still great gameplay from you 👍👍
thx mate ♥ I hated the officials in legacy. they were hardcore compared to the evrima officials. I had to adpat at the beginning, 'cause I played legacy on rule servers only, but, meanwhile I like the officials a lot. 50% of players are friendly and good for a nice gameplay, the other 50% are a welcome threat. of course a corpse guard stego is annoying, but, if you leave them, they mostly move on quickly. somehow I like that you never know what happens next. on a rule server I know a teno can't attack me as long as I keep distance. or I don't have to fear a carni if it has a body and so on. don't get me wrong, I still like rule servers and may switch to them at some point again, but, I also enjoy the chaotic or let's say more unknown gameplay on the officials
Well actually, the Isle don't have any rules to play. You can play whatever you want in the officials, even if you play dirty and all, no ones gonna punish you, unless you using hacks. It always been like this from the very beginning. Most people with faint heart are gonna complains and change to unofficials with rules, but chads are gonna contemplate and evaluate whenever he dies. He won't complain anything. He always thought that he died because of his own mistake and Will be careful in his next life. That's why chads become really skillful Players in no time, like mombie, nappn, defeatpete, and many others.

@@da.mombie yeah, sadly that’s the case for omnis and back when cannibalism was a common is was pretty devastating loosing your Omni because there was no way of striking back. Wish the devs would add a feature like press E and drain the pouncer’s stamina like 40% faster or something like that to give a chance to fight back or escape.

yeah, this is only my 2nd? omni video since U6.5. in general it will become less and less with every incoming dino. as soon as there are 50 dinos in the game and I keep rotating them, omni will be twice a year? :/
to be honest, it is a up and down. there are also many moments which are boring in between. keep in mind that I only show the highlights of mostly 3-5 hours gameplay. still, the isle offers so many lovely, scary, suspense, intense and hilarious moments. which are worth the down time in between in my opinion

in general ptera can't do much anyway. omni can fight back with the jump pretty well. carno, teno, cera and so on don't get seriously hurt by a ptera. still, trolls being trolls and played as such, pteras can be really annoying :/
I nested with almost every dino already. just with the new ones I didn't beside beipi. to plan to nest mostly doesn't work. everytime I want to nest, I don't find a mate. but, as soon as I have the chance and also have enough time to raise them properly, I will nest again. I also do nesting events with our community every now and then
It's sad that Omni is at the bottom of the food chain in the isle bc it's very fun to play although the new update kinda ruined Omni by adding a way better carnivore , cera.

1 utah is able to kill a teno and carno with a bit of patience . And is able to kill a cera if it has like 80% food at the start of the fight or else you starve

I always hear about these omnis which are so good and able to this or that, but, beside nappn I never met one. a random group of 5-6 omnis couldn't take down my cera and I am an average cera player. so, yeah, in theroy it might be possibly. in reality tho, you barely face players on the level of nappn and most omni players are average like myself
