- Hello! Hope you're having a beautiful day so far! In this vlog, I spent the day doing lots of crafts! I did some patchwork hand sewing, making a new pin cushion from one of the craft books I recently bought. I also continued to crochet a few more granny squares for my blanket project, and also a pot saucer/coaster using the jasmine star stitch for my crochet plant. At the end of the day I updated my Traveler's Notebook daily diary and shared what I got from the recent Tokyo's edition collection. I love that bundle of fabric you bought. Is that from a local shop where you live? Or do they sell online? That’s the kind of fabrics I look for for my Boro project. I love the woven fabrics and the different natural dyed ones.

What a great way to store your finished granny squares. One thing I could never work out after a few people tried teaching me. Then years ago I watched a you tube video and i finally got it.

Thank you for watching! I think that's the etsy seller I got the books from! My Japanese is very limited but I'm able to understand the instructions because of the pictures. With Japanese crochet books, instructions are shown in crochet symbol charts instead of abbreviations. You can also use the Google Translate app on your phone and turn on camera. It does a good job at translating.😊

Thank you very much for watching! I buy my craft books from Etsy (Search for Japanese craft books) and Amazon Japan. With Amazon Japan, they have a lot more selection so its better to narrow down what you're looking for specifically (Embroidery, crochet, etc) 😊

Such a great mix of interesting and lovely projects Kiko! So enjoyable to watch. I agree your little crocheted plant looks very pretty with it's new coaster and I think your garden is going to look amazing when in full bloom! I hope to get some flowers growing this coming cooler season fingers crossed. I live in the sub tropics in Qld here in Australia so am able to grow something all year round even in winter really. But I usually find time and motivation are my biggest problems! 😉

Hi there, thanks for a lovely time. Just an idea; Instead of buying a yarn stand, you can knit from the inside/middel of a yarnball, that way it don't run anywhere, when you're needing more yarn :)
