When it comes to economics, and business, he made no sense. The amusing part is he thought he was a genius while telling me these things. Haiti is worse off than the Dominican Republic. Dominicans don't like Haitians because they say they practice Voodoo witchcraft. Being poorer, Haitians immigrant to the Dominican Republic looking for a better life. The reason why there is a humanitarian crisis is they are not forward thinking people much like how West Virginia depended on the coal industry and keep hoping coal prosperity will come back.
