Wheein's falsetto and Moonbyul's deeper singing voice balancing everything out is what makes me love this song. Not to mention the production. The steady dance type beat with the 80's vibes is sooooo well done.

As much as I love Mamamoo, this song is so so. Gleam was a bop and a half so I was expecting a lot this time even though this was for a commercial. The message in the song, the vocal techniques are all good. Clearly the producer is to be blamed for this.

Firstly davichi (Korean phrase for shining over everything...which translates loosely to Gleam) is also the name of a popular Duo here in Korea, also known for mad harmonizing. So it seemed like a patronising act. Secondly it was their first major commercial (full song) and I wasn't sure whether it will be up to mark. I was happy to be proved wrong when the song came out. But this one just hurts. There's a song called Zzzz from Mamamoo's last album, track 8 and basically B side of the album. There's no video for it (of course) and it's one of those songs that you will only get to hear during full concert by Mamamoo upon encore request. But even that song is leaps and bounds better than this.
