Tammy, I have been watching you over the past year and my knowledge of what to do, the whens, the hows, the where and the whats - have helped me to take better care of my skin. I watch you towards the end of the day when the office is quiet and with pen and note pad in hand, I have acquired not only the knowledge but the some of these wonderful products that you review as well. I thoroughly enjoy your videos. You are a treasure!

+uppiesbeads59 Are Edens Garden essential oils comparable to the oils you use? Also can you mix oils together that are of a different company? I ordered 6 oils to start out from Edens Garden before I watched this video this week, and now I'm wondering if I should continue with that company or purchase oils from the company you use. I would really appreciate your help 💕😊

+uppiesbeads59 Hi..love your tutorials..it is so refreshing to see things on an actual woman not a 20 year old. I am a 65 yr old with pretty good skin and also an oil guru.Just a tip that works wonderfully for me regarding concealers. After applying it I place a little jojoba oil on my middle fingers and tap, tap, tap your under eye area, do not rub. Let it sit for about 10 minutes ,I do this last and your concealer will not settle in lines. let me know what you think. Ricki

LOVE your video. I am an Aromatherapist and teach this at college here in Australia. Your face blend is IDENTICAL to the one I have made up for my own skin (except I do have the rose oil - industry..what can I say?). Thanks for highlighting the wonders of essential oils!

I loved this video! People think I am crazy to use oils on my face, but when I explain what the oils have done for me, they are amazed. One example is I use rosehip seed oil on my face and it completely evened out my skin tone, eliminating 99% of the redness I used to have. I use a combo of coconut oil, jojoba oil and vitamin E oil around my eyes, and I have no crow's feet, and only a few laugh lines when I smile or laugh, but they are not visible on my 'resting' face, and I am 40 years old. Essential oils are awesome, as are you Miss Tammy! xox

Thanks for this great video Tammy, even though it was posted 6 years ago. I also love using essential oils. My favourite oil is Cacay Oil which has 3 times more vitamin A than Rosehip Oil, 1,5 times more vitamin E than Argan Oil and 2 times more Linoleic Acid than Argan oil. It does not block pores so it is also good for those who are prone to acne and is without doubt the most powerful anti-aging oil out there - it has completely transformed my skin. It is a carrier oil so other essential oils can be mixed with it if needed, but using it on its own is very effective. In the beginning you may get slight irritation and some peeling (which doesn’t happen to everyone) due to the high retinol content, but the skin will quickly acclimate. I have very sensitive skin and yet I can use it without problems, but it took a little while for my skin to get used to it completely. It also healed my mild rosacea. It now gives me glowing, smooth, plump skin. I also add some frankincense oil to it when I apply it - it’s my Holy Grail. Valerie Anne Wormwood released a revised version of The Book of Essential Oils and Aromatherapy in 2016 - it is also my favourite essential oils book that taught me a lot. I agree with you that essential oils must be used with respect, as they are very concentrated and potent. 💕

I like your video and the warnings you provide at the forefront. Very important. The book recommendations are great. All good information, however:
It seems that your drops to carrier ratio are a bit high in the recipes listed above. Typically a blend for therapeutic use would be a ratio of 15:1. 15 drops (total) to 1 oz of carrier. The book does not merely suggest these, but it is a serious consideration as the oils are very concentrated and less is better.
Also, it is good to know if someone is on medication, as essential oils can collide with some medications.
Just some information that folks should be aware of when going into creating their own products. When in doubt, seek out a certified aromatherapist.

Love this. Got into essential oils many years ago when I went to a folk medicine festival in a little TN town known for its healing sulfur springs. This was before internet and I was so intrigued. I learned to make my own soap after that first festival. Though I do have the spirit of a hippie, I guess. (my husband once said that I might be burned at the stake way back in another time :o)) These things and their uses have been here long before hippies and witches. LOL Ahh and Frankincense and Myrrh, were gifts from the wise men for the baby Jesus. So they must be very special indeed. I figure if it's good for Him, it's good for me too. Love your videos Tammy, and Merry Christmas.

This is a wonderful *Argan Rain %100 Pure Argan Oil* truly love the way this feels on my skin and how it absorbed in very quickly like my skin was sucking it up thru a straw. I like how there is no smell to this at all and was not harsh on my face like other serum this made my skin feel soft and smooth and a slight tightness to my skin after using this. I had a glow all over my face and it was radiant and nice feeling one that truly felt amazing and wonderful. I love this serum and the price is a nice.

You can make more if you are going to use it daily...I keep all of my oil formula's in DARK glass bottles in a drawer away from light...they don't go bad ( some carrier oils require refrigeration ...rose hip oil)..Yes you can replace your skincare using essential oils....I would suggest getting a good book..learning about the oils ..I use mainly oils that anti age..Carrot seed, frankincense, sandalwood, neroli...etc. Your skin type will also make a difference with what carrier oils you choose

I am so happy, that was the first book I bought, before I saw your video. I love it! I am just getting started (going to be 60 first of next month) so I started kind of late in life. But still have a lot of life to take care of. LOVE your videos. Thanks you so much.

I have used my essential oils with both...it is up to you...if you like making your own...or investing in skinceuticals...I have used both and get the same results...some will disagree ...so I guess it is a personal thing...I know many people who make and love their own...

Barnes and Noble has this book on sale right now! Just ordered mine ;) I use essential oils all the time and they are such powerfully wonderful medicines but you do need to know how to use them. Tammy has given very good advice in this tutorial!

Your skin and hair look absolutely amazing!! I have just started my journey into essential oils, and this has been the most informative video I have found yet. Thank you so so so so much for stressing the point of safety with oils. I've already done some research online and realized going into this that educating yourself on oils before you use them is essential. A lot of videos I've seen on YT don't mention anything about safety, so yes, thank you for that. And I was really excited to see you recommending the very book I ordered! Love this video ❤

I apply the early in my application of skin care....small amounts...less is more with oils...I also allow everything to soak in for a few minutes...wiping lightly any excess left on the skin!
