FedEx shipped a package from New Jersey to Tennessee then sent it to Mississippi which if it went by truck it went within 8 miles of my house and now they'll ship it back to Tennessee. It sure seems like there'd be a better way to ship it then send it a 139 miles past my house to turn around and bring it back. I don't know how that can be very profitable
I can see what your saying as being true. Some times packages are at my post office, then even sent to another state snd re- routed back to my post office or fedex location. Doesn't makes sense.
Have you created a FedEX label using "A request for FedEx Hold for Pickup" for a customer to pickup package at Walgreens? I did not see that as an option in your example and just wondering how easy this would be for sellers todo? And how to do it..
As you're making the label, under the "Pick Up/Drop Off" dropdown menu on the right, is where you can select a location to drop the package off at or schedule a pickup. Thanks!
I've registered for an account (9 digits) so to create an online shipping label, do i have to create an online account with an ID and password first? Fedex website is just so complicated for a 67 yrs old
Thank you for the comment. Unfortunately, I am not part of the process of creating an account so I'm not sure. I've always received a login from the company I worked for. To do the process outlined in the video, you do need a login.

Within the "Package & Shipment Details" list the number of packages you have. Click yes or no if they are identical or not. If not, enter each package's approximate weight and dimensions. "Under Service Type" select "FedEx Ground." Then specify "Package type." If it's non-FedEx packing, then you'd select "your packaging." Then enter the dimensions of the package(s). Billing Details: be sure your account is selected if that is how payment is working for this shipment. Specify if it's a Pick-Up or Drop Off. Unless you call FedEx to schedule a ground truck to come to the "Ship From" address, someone will need to drop the packages off at FedEx. Then click SHIP to get your label(s) and tracking info. Please let me know if you're getting stuck in an area I haven't covered. Thanks!

Do you print your own labels on a label printer?
You can print on labels. I just print onto paper, fold it in half, and get the clear envelopes that FedEx provides to seal and stick onto the package.
