My first iem of the under 100 bracket and an absolute love of mine because of that relaxed lower Treble and such a pleasing midrange. It's bass is also noteworthy because it's not Harman like with a lil touch up to the midbass... A good set a long time ago still remains good even if the market has so mch more competition now. I'm glad the Titan got some love on this channel, thanks Timmy
Bought it for around 40 USD back in 2023, still holds up today even though I had to replace the cable and it's all banged up. I only recently bought the Truthear Zero Red, but I still prefer the Titan S on some songs.
Counterpoint to metal built IEMs, it's not an ideal option for humid environments. I myself am suffering from choosing a metal IEM without considering the chance of regular condensation problems. Anyway, Dunu Titan S really did stand the test of time, which is incredibly difficult in a market that is this fast moving.
I was expecting something like that coming from the commentary section of this video, and you are absolutely RIGHT. EVERYONE should listen to what I have to say right now: If you live in a humid environment, **DO NOT BUY METAL IEMs!** They will clog and develop condensation issues every single day, and it's even worse if you have an ear canal that produces a lot of wax and moisture. I am living proof of all these problems. I have to change filters and tuning papers as often as possible because I live in a tropical country with extreme humidity. My ears are even more sensitive to moisture and wax buildup, making the situation even worse.
Metal shell also shock your ears if you use your phone or player while charging I'm traumatized by metal shells with chu2 was happy after I'd bought wan'er as my daily use I'm planning to buy under 50$ zero red, wyver abyss & tanchjim bunny💀😭 i preferably choose under 100$ New Chopin Dark Gray(1dd+3ba)Kiwiears Orchestra Lite(5ba) or Pula pa08(1dd+4ba) or Tanchjim 4u(switches) or save money for Tanchjim Origin(endgame 1dd flagship + less distortion) its metal but will buy mp3 dac by fiio f17 in the future👌✨️these are very aesthic and decent drivers & tuning tech🤞✨️
I have the dunu titan S and I live in Singapore, it's been two years and I haven't felt anything wrong yet... even the blue fake leather case is still holding up lol, people around me apparently thought it was real too
@@InfiniteEel i see i usually use iems until i sleep i also have aful explorer i only using it when im awake im afraid the 2pin wire plug cracks/bent or the iem might damage this is im only using waner for sleeping cuz i dont have to worry when damage tho i use super sealing glue on different thick qdc cable i hope they provide mmcx pins for sleeping flex 2 pins breaks easily sadly🤭
I don't get the Titan S / Wan'er comparison. To my ears the Titan S is much more open and detailed in the mids and treble compared to the kind of soft and bloated sound of the Wan'er. The Titan S also has really nice bass, not in quantity but in quality - provided it's there in the source material. With the Wan'er the mids and bass bleed together a bit, the bass has no real kick and there's very little sub bass. I own both, but I find the difference is like night and day. The Wan'er has been retired for some time but I still frequently listen to the Titan S.
It heavily depends on your sources, and obviously your ear sensitivity, and of course it's normal that the higher price of IEM has more technicality, it would be embarassing if DUNU lose in tech😂
Very interesting im searching for cheap good driver but still the price not far from im saving for better driver like tanchjim origin for endgame vocals🤞✨️
It is wild how good earphones under 100 quid are compared to headphones. I thought earphones for my computer were a crazy idea and now I wouldn't have it another way
@mirzaangon Nice brother I first found it in Droid head video. Then research it more. Truthear x crinacle Zero Red was in my radar not available in my budget of 3k taka
Where do can I see you EQ settings for different IEMs? I saw your settings for Tangzu Wan'er on a reddit comment but I want to know where or what video/site did they get it from.
So surprised to see a video covering Titan S in 2025. I decided to take out my Titan S bc of this video and wow, they really are great vocal set! I kept using them with instrumentals and daily drived them for months until my ears started getting sore from overuse but wow I forgot how nice these sounded. I still prefer open-back headphones over iems but this is a breath of fresh air for my music, I'm smiling ear to ear listening to tracks again. I'm glad I never went through with selling these! Still solid for real.
I had (have) all three of those. I had the Aria (and Tin T2) they were my first IEMs. Also had the T3+. I still have and enjoy my Titan S. To my ear, the treble is quite lively. And I was shocked how well it holds up against the Origin (it's in my ears right now). It's just a slightly odd fit for my ears.
How come this channel doesn’t review famous brands like campfire, empire ears, vision ears etc?? All i can see is a bunch of chinese brands…Sry new here
Yes, i used it 2years, come to much audio event, and i can say.. titan S OG still good. But cable really bad after 1 years used. I think the upgrade of the OG one is Tanchjim Origin, but.. 79$ to 250$...
I would love to buy an IEM, but don't know which one to get.. I currently use a Sony xm3 with APO PEACE equalizer to get rid of the muddiness.. but I would love something that doesn't pierce my fkn eardrum like a warmer sound but with good clarity in voices.. any "first buy this as a beginner" IEM's you guys recommend? budget is max 100$ max for now
I dont like neutral sound sigs. I like a bit of bass & punch. So i wouldn't want this for free. I'm not analysing music, I'm listening to it. Do i like a fun sig. The Artti T10 is a great example of the sound i like.

You can store the iems in a case with dehumidifiers although that may be very tedious for some people

What about the Rose technics star city 5 pro? It's also pretty balanced option 😅 the sound stage is better than the hexa ig.
I agree that Titan S is good for its price.
Anyone want to tell him titian s2 was out last year?
Surprised he didn't mention titan s2 at all, like it doesn't exist.. Seems like it's not on the list?
The tuning seems different, I guess he just don't want to complicate things
I reviewed the S2 months ago on Gizaudio. It's good, just not really a Titan S replacement
Titan S2 is a meme!... deserves to be forgotten.
s2 is not that good, little one
no mention of the s2 is confusing

Titan s still one of my favorite iem. Tuned just right.

Just bought 7hz x crinacle Zero*IEM* in Bangladesh. From a 3rd party seller I am now loving it.❤
from Bangladesh and I have the zero 2. Thinking of upgrading to the Truthear x Crinacle Zero Red...
@mirzaangon Nice brother I first found it in Droid head video. Then research it more. Truthear x crinacle Zero Red was in my radar not available in my budget of 3k taka
funny enough, the only "competition" the OG Titan S, is arguably the Kima 2, also from Dunu, in terms of a neutral vocal focused iem.
The Kima 2 graphs darker in some areas.
@tealeyevisuals7446 i Know, thats why i said "competition" like that, is not exactly the same, but close enough
So why is it on the store but not tagged as approved on the list?
by error, I guess, that it is not tagged as approved.

idk if i should buy titan s or the Hexa
There is a second version already, so why would I still choose the old one though, unless it's on sale with a very cheap price 😅
second one sounds different and is apparently not as great
@@InfiniteEel and here I was looking to get the S2, now you've changed my mind 😂
Best dunu titan s and titan s2 👍🔥🔥
Is it better than Kima 2?
ill be using my kiwi ears melody until it's time to get to the next tier

What about the Titan S2....
Bassy.. Titan S more neutral
Titan S well amplified it's a quite correct IEM 👌
what are some iems that you can say is a direct upgrade for similar tuning around $200-$400?
The accessories alone are worth it
between this and truthear zero red which one is better?
If you want neutral and your playlist need speed, go Titan S. Red is more bass and smooth.
Artti R1 slaps for even less cash 🤘
I don't disagree, but they are a completely different signature though, so it's very apples to oranges.
….why wouldn’t you nab an s2 and get that wonderful sample pack of eartips and the cable?
What about moondrop zero red
I think Tripowin Olina SE is the closest to Titan S. I would like to hear your verdict if I could.
Olina more shouty upper mid
How come this channel doesn’t review famous brands like campfire, empire ears, vision ears etc?? All i can see is a bunch of chinese brands…Sry new here
Because this isn't a review channel. It's a store channel that (mostly) does product showcases of IEMs that they sell.
Would still choose the T3 Plus over Titan S
T3+ is boring… I wouldn’t pick it today, there are tons of options!
I still use my Titan S at work.
I got it with the announcement of Titan 2 thinking it was going to be discontinued 😅 it's really good but I prefer aria 2
So TANCHJIM BUNNY is not worth recommend at all 😂
Yes, i used it 2years, come to much audio event, and i can say.. titan S OG still good. But cable really bad after 1 years used. I think the upgrade of the OG one is Tanchjim Origin, but.. 79$ to 250$...
And... Titan S will gonna superb when you plug in to Astell n Kern DAP.. i try many DAP but astell n Kern is beast for the Titan S
💓💓💓💓
I prefer Simgot EA500 over the Titan S
sub 100: truthear red, hexa, aria 2, titan s
I would love to buy an IEM, but don't know which one to get..

The thuthhear hexa for sure! Around 65-80 depending on sales
@@batatac4mil86 ah I see, thanks !
Sorry, i still prefer Simgot EA 500.
Hexa
There is a new Titan S2
Not really replacing the original for me.

unfortunately its one of the ugliest iems ever made
That's Dunu for you.
same as rgb lighting imo.. who cares
@@swineinbrine rgb doesnt look bad but i dont have it on my build so i agree with u
I recommend kefine klean, truthear zero red, simgot ew300 or ea500 lm over this 1000 times
