    These LAS drivers are great at finding gaps that are not there to get through the traffic

    Great video apart from forcing drivers to break the law by going against red lights to let you through... That's your exemption not theirs, should have killed your sirens kept your blue lights on and waited til you could get through the gap oh and before anyone jumps on their high horse l was an ambulance driver for 10 yrs so know what l talking about.

      @@leesaunders7232 northbound on Shepherd’s Bush Road moving up to Goldhawk, wrong side of the road on a blind corner, almost hit by a VW Passat, then mounts the island on the junction with pedestrians standing on it to cut through. Then that notorious junction at Uxbridge road with one centre lane of traffic with nowhere to go but forward, you’re supposed to kill the tones and not push them through because you’re gonna get someone T-boned.
      But overall just didn’t like the lane drifting on the A4 and the ambiguity in telling other drivers the intention. If you drive in a way that lets other drivers know what you want to do, you’ll be less surprised by their manoeuvres. Which isn’t to say people can’t be idiots but your more prepared for their idiocy.

      Yeah, that's why the two tones should be switched on approach to a hazard or potential hazard, it draws attention to the vehicle. which this numpty didn't do.

    The motorists do their damndest, vieo after video, to get out of the way. The pedestrians simply do not care.

    1:52 Van goes through red light, enjoy your fine there bud. Same again at 4:04.
    A professional emergency driver would turn sirens off at red lights and not make folks go through them.

      +RTobi (Rummeltobi) What's wrong with that? I love the two tone siren. It's less harsh on the ears, Europeans recognise it more and I find it echoes less in built up areas making it easier to tell where it's coming from.

    • @Rummeltobi
      @Rummeltobi 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      uzijn From my experience you can hear the wail and yelp much earlier and hi-lo doesn't really has that "move out of the way!!! effect".

    Of course it false alarm who hijack a train? Think about it, the train can only go where the rails go, duh! When you is hijacks a plane you can tell the pilot to go anywhere, train can only go where the rail go and that not even to another country.

      you realise this was a suspected terror incident? would you drive at 5mph following every law to get there if YOU were an emergency responder?

    • @Sly_Wolf_1
      @Sly_Wolf_1 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I have responded to hundreds of emergencies across over 30 years of working in the emergency services. Not only was I a class 1 advanced driver I was also an instructor, I still occasionally cover frontline shifts in the private sector, so that I keep up to speed on things if you pardon the pun.This driver incorrectly forces people to go through red traffic signals, this driver does not commit a lane and direction which is why cars in front have moved out of the way in the wrong direction, this driver also has no right to drive over pedestrian refuges to avoid traffic at traffic signals. This is bad red mist driving because a) it's a major incidentb) The camera is on, so lets make it look good.
