UPDATE: The price per credit hour is $250. The resource fee is $700. That would make these courses close to $2,000 each. This is still not worth it in my opinion.

Great video, man. I am enrolled in the associate degree program and about to finish my second semester. Time is flying, but once I saw the email SDI sent, I was excited because I chose the 1911 capstone, so when I graduate, I was going to do one of the other classes they offered. Then I saw it doesn’t accept the GI bill. I was very disappointed as many prior service are enrolled. I don't know why SDI did that; hopefully, they can accept VA benefits in the near future for those individual courses. Also, It’s great to see your videos again. I always look forward to getting a notification saying you posted. Maybe for ideas for more videos, you can do reviews on adjustable triggers or make a video about just field stripping your echelon. Also, on gunbroker you can search for gunsmith specials and buy firearms that need to be repaired for fairly cheap. That would be cool to see you buy and fix them up

Thanks for your comment! Yes, time does fly. It is so crazy how fast it goes. I am very disappointed in how the "single courses" were implemented but hopefully changes will be made. I can't wait to upload some more. I have a few videos on some new firearms on the way. Stay tuned!

According to success coach response to student orientation webinar the electives after graduation would cost 1600 per course and probably also have a resource fee.

I think it is somewhere on their website, if you can't find it I would call admissions.

Since I had to withdraw from SDI back in August (personal/family issues), I've actually learned more by doing my own research instead of just the required class research. Pretty soon I'll finish the video on my Jukar Spain black powder pistol. I haven't been able to find .44 caliber balls to go with the .01 patches (.45 caliber barrel) and I'm still looking for the sear spring which is broken, but I did manage to get a foam earplug to work as a temporary sear spring for now. I'll probably just stick a patch in it and fill it with pebbles or even a .44 dowel cut down to size like a wadcutter bullet...anything to show proof of concept that it will function even with redneck-rigged internals. I really wish I had gotten it running before now cause it's currently black powder season for deer.

I remember you saying something about having to withdraw. Do you plan on going back?

@@TennesseeTactical eventually, yes. Right now I'm more focused on getting my license and getting the shop going to have some income. Running into lots of hurdles with that, so it may be late next year before I can get back into classes.

@@paulis7319Trust me man, I have ran into so many issues with opening up shop, from the location, to the local zoning laws I have had tons of hurdles.

@@TennesseeTactical oh I believe it! It doesn't help that we have a city counselwoman who cringes at the idea of new businesses coming into town.
