I clearly remember it was during the pandemic outbreak and the world is in the middle of a huge problem and I watched your videos while you are only starting vlogging on TH-cam. Happy to see how much you've grown. Kudos to the channel. Keep up the good work always, recommending to visit the Philippines in the future. Peace! 🥳

    Dear Lazarus:
Oh my, this video will of tremendous interest, to my, friend Charles. He’s been struggling, to keep red plants red, for some time. As I currently keep my aquaria “low-tech,” all red plants I add turn green. I may use these tips, in some of my tanks, in future.
Thank you, for all you do, for the FishFam Community.
    All my best,
    Sincerely,
    E. J. Brinegar

Hey EJ! That's awesome to hear! That's why I make these videos! I hope he found these tips helpful. The key things that work for me is the rgb lighting and liquid iron. Weekly dosage of liquid iron should ensure red plant growth. Thanks for watching man! Have a good one and good luck with your red aquarium plants!

      Dear Lazarus:
I have only a few, red, aquatic plants; Ludwigia repens and Cryptocoryne wendtii. As I am not adding iron-rich fertilizer or injecting CO2, the red disappears in the repens and the pink of the wendtii has degenerated to a dull, greenish-pink. I like to keep my set-ups, low-tech, for now. However, Charles is quite interested in red, aquatic plants and is having good success, with a few species such as Nymphaea Zenkeri and Alternanthera reineckii. I knew this information would be of interest, to him. He intends to begin injecting CO2, soon, and is adding iron-rich, liquid fertilizer.
Thank you, for all you do, for the FishFam Community.
      Sincerely,
      Brinegar
