I've got one of these, had it since 2010, was on special offer at Argos at the time for £9.95 and I had a £5 Argos voucher from buying a DVD player from them, so it cost me £4.95! Still running on the same battery, I've saved this video, so that when the battery finally does run out, I know exactly the process of changing it.
Unfortunately it's just Casio's usual modus operandi, they did the same with the G shock GD 350. By the way, I bought a GD 350 in a negative display, and wow, it may be the best negative display watch of Casio not counting their MIP display watches. A shame it's now discontinued. Thank you for the video.
Mine is from 2012 and runs about a second a day fast... It's still a favorite, though. Because it has snooze alarm and dual time. Which i use often. And also, it is very tough, as it turns out after wearing a whole lot.

@@rockall66 Argos is great for watches. I wish they didn’t close in Ireland.

Inderdaad.
I have a W800. It isn't as accurate as my other Casio's.

Rounded non-geometric shapes? Looks like a fossil from the 90's.
I agree. It looks like it should've been discontinued 15 years ago. I'm genuinely surprised it was still produced until recently.
A fossil, or a "Fossil"? A big difference.... capital letter lives matter.😂
