Have you guys thought of putting in a China gap? Like the one at LAS? I think itd be really cool with birch and it would be lower effort. Mix something with all of those rails
Ramp looks good. It's so much easier if you use that long 2x4 at the bottom like a bulldozer and put cement on the high side and slowly push the 2x4 up while wiggling left and right. Repeat until smooth. That's how you get that perfect curved surface. Use the templates as a guide with the 2x4.
I was thinking you have like 100k subscribers, with the content you make. You are a very cool person and I want to see you grow into a big youtuber. Keep up the great vids
Nice! I was thinking maybe yall shld have left the coping sticking up a lil higher but since u did the top real thin it works. This is also one of the only videos (out of 100s) where they show how the top deck is done!
you could always throw another small layer of crete on top to smooth it out a bit, also a coat of concrete paint will help fill in some of the inconsistencies in the surface.
Fuck yeah. Cheers from Canada this is a sweet spot. If I was around I'd buy a ton of cement and fix the whole ground with ya'll. no more unwanted cracks and fucked up tiles.
Sick video! So funny you bribed the old man lol. Cool to watch the process of the build. I love skating DIY. The rawness of the amateur builds makes it that much better honestly. Subbed and looking forward to more builds and skating!
I think you could’ve avoided a lot of heat from the neighbors if you did all the prep work away from the site. Then casually assemble it with less commotion and time to be noticed. Also, if you screeded the surface with a 2x4 after you poured the concrete, you would’ve had a very smooth, even ride. 🤙🏾
@@SeanEnuks hell yea man. its been chill by the beach. no protests over here really. just trying to do my part online and spread the right info and donate. come thru to venice beach for sure tho!
Emmett Bird that’s good to hear dude, and also rad to hear you finding your own way to contribute to the cause, hopefully it’s not too long before I’m lucky enough to be back in Cali!
You guys are sofa king awesome 👌. I'm subbed, bell ranged, all that. Plus I just DM'd a younger sponsored kid I skated with I met in my town to see if any DIYs are popped up here, I have 13 bricks a pallet and 5 sheets of wood to start lol
This is such an awesome set up. In Mississippi where I lived for a short time I filmed a DIY video at a place that had the same basic set as what ya'll have there. Can't wait for your next video. Would consider building another at this location?
Ty Prowant that’s rad man, diys are so much fun, I’m glad I picked this spot to build at, it’s perfect I wanna build another quarter but the labour is a lot haha
Now that you're in LA you need to collab and do this with zach dowdy... he got me into Corrigan who got me into your channel.... and he does this same awesomeness in LA
Yo that quarter looks perfect. Ive tried building one in the past but it was just too steep. Would you mind telling me how you got the angle of this ramp
Ayo you guys should wear a mask or anything ya can over your mouth/nose when workin' with concrete. The dust from it when you mixin' it is gnarly on the lungs. Spot lookin' mad nice my guy. You guys killin' the diy
@@SeanEnuks some local skateshops have already added a ledge, i think im gonna add a really small half pipe, like maybe a foot tall because i always think those are so fun because you can do so much and there is no chance of getting hurt so you can just mess around
Why would a random neighbor even care about any of this? It doesn't look like this property is going to be bulldozed anytime soon. Excellent job with the quarterpipe, I think it fits in nicely with the other obstacles.
I have no idea, I think he has too much time on his hand, totally agree, I doubt they will ever knock this place down, the quarter pipe is such a sick addition it adds flow to the spot
You know what’s crazy I met you when you were In California at serenity you have me a sticker that was like a year ago and I’m just now starting to watch your vids

Very smart filling up the ramp with bricks saves a lot of cement I have learned this lesson the hard way many times! Keep killing it Sean!
Thanks dude! i figured we pack in everything we could find at hand around the slab lol
Good old concerned citizens, aren’t they the best 😅 another dope episode my dude 👊
Ralpf he’s name is, old mate Ralpf lol
Dope ass series, would love to see an edit of a group session
Thanks dude, that would be a rad idea
Your the only one I’ve seen actually build instead of letting your friend do it all
_.gggocrxZy._ like saundezy huh 🤣🤣
look up Ben DeGros. He has a skateboarding channel and a carpentry channel. He build a buttery poured concrete ledge for his local skatepark!

That's a great idea! Just figuring out how we could cast the concrete to get the shape right
Birch is so nice smooth and fast great tip I used it on my ramps
You have given me too many props, I was going with the flow just as much as you were AHAHAHAHA. Cheers homie, just glad everyone loves it!
Todd Alcock well deserved bro couldn’t have done it without you lol
This is sick, the DIY is really coming together.
Its pretty much complete, im not too sure what to build next
This is how Burnside skate park in Portland Oregon began. And now it's world famous, it was even featured in one of Tony Hawk's video games.
Burnside is OG as hell, I grew up watching clips from that spot, so much concrete has gone into that place
Sk8 bucket list spot!
Nice vid! I really like this kind of skate vlogs that involve diy building, keep up the work 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Glad you liked it! Will do!
Pyramid hip build in the next episode 😏
Leon Paxton very tempting but daunting lol

This series is great. DIY spots are the best. My friends and i had one for awhile before some people came by and tore it up.
I’m glad you dig the series, ahh that sucks to hear man, that’s a common theme with diys, people ruining them
Sean Enuks true that. Guess it is what it is ha.
*Mission Passed*
*Respect + for Todd*
😂 100% we passed haha
I am building a concrete mini in my back garden ▶️ 💣💥 "we love the concrete" . . Keep on slapping the concrete worldwide
Right on!
That's the crustiest quarter pipe I ever seen, and I LOVE IT!! Nice job boys, the park's looking gnarly 👊🤙
Thanks dude, Its actually smoother now believe it or not lol
Looks like most spots on the east coast of the United states

crackhead970 we did consider that, maybe I’ll see how it goes and then maybe chuck a light layer on and paint it
Really enjoying the D.I.Y content.

Great video...just for future ref tropics are north of latitude Tropic of Capricorn, which Sydney is not
Get a rub brick from Bunnings ghee and give the quarter a lil sand/rub back and it will make it mint
that would be a sick idea actually, cheers bro
Bro I’m so dumb u already have one!
Been binge watching ur vids ghee ur vids are 🔥
How were you able to bond the coping to the cement?
It would be cool to see a bump/hum made to carry some speed between obstacles. That way you don't have to push so much
i have deff considered a speed bump for sure
Been waiting so long for this episode😍😍
Mikael Kauhanen Thankyou for your patience!
Best thing I’ve seen this year!!
