    We need more interesting birds of prey in this country. What a sight to see. Anyone know if it's been seen recently?

      No. It flew back to the continent last year and hasn't returned since. With the reintroductions continuing on the continent they may become more regular visitors in the future.

    Shame it didn’t stay here. It’s now in East Anglia. Rather it go back to the Alps or the Pyrenees but at least the Peak District was similar-ish habitat

      Glad it buggered off. Would’ve eventually been shot by a bastard grouse keeper up in Yorkshire, miracle it survived as long as it did.
