- Noël Peirce Coward, 73 (16th December 1899 - 26th March 1973) was an English playwright, composer, director, actor and singer, known for his wit, flamboyance, and what Time magazine called "a sense of personal style, a combination of cheek and chic, pose and poise".
Thanks a million for this tribute to a heavenly creature...N O E L C O W A R D.
Thanks for this, he was the best!
Greetings from Florida 🌴 Thank You So Much for these fantastic interviews!!! Happy Healthy 2021 🎉
Trying to educate myself on theatrical themes.Thank you so much.
I'm astonished you've only had one thank you for this. I've seen a few Noël Coward interviews but never, for example, the Robert Robinson one. So...many thanks!
Let's just mention the narrator, the wonderful Sylvia Sims, recently departed.
Love the way the audience is captivated by Noel Coward when interviewed by Attenborough. The audience had young and old represented. I can't think of anyone today who can draw an audience in this way. He was such an interesting man. Really enjoyed this.
Thank you for this interesting interview of Noël Coward.
It is always so interesting to hear him speaking, so smart, intelligent and highly talented man was Sir Noel Coward.
@14.42 Would that be Prince Charles, The Prince Of Wales? It looks remarkably like him. And straight after the shot Mr Coward talks about Lord Mountbatten, Charles's great uncle! Great interview.
Prince Charles it is. David Niven was also there.
@@58christiansful did you see Niven? I was looking for him. Ah! I found him!
It does indeed!
I knew some of these interviews from buying the audios on iTunes, but never knew video existed. What a treat to find it here, thank you! I had listened to the convesration with Richard Attenborough several times without ever knowing it was him!
A wonderful man! Thank you for sharing this interview!
Great interviews of Noel Coward; some I had not ever seen. He was great. Thanks for the post.
I can't imagine the entertainment world without NC! I love all of his productions, but Brief Encounter is my favorite.
David Niven was in audience at NFT. As were several actors and actresses….and Prince Charles.
So lovely to find this documentary. Trully beautiful.
A wonderful talent and a thoroughly decent person. While we know him best for his work in theatre, for me he'll always be Mr Bridger from the 1969 Italian Job. He was such a fascinating man and there'll never be another like him. Thanks for the memories Mr Coward ❤ 😊
The hubris to refer to William Shakespeare has one of his colleagues
He's phenomenal!
Thank you for posting this.
Lanyards ! Oh Noel ...😂
Is Bunny lake still missing? 😊
Fascinating.
