In all fairness, the tavern brawl is so easy there really isn't any point to using his hero power. Just spam guys, get Rahm's curse and just rush them down before they can form decent defence. There's a reason most heroes in the later stages often start off with more mana. Compensates for those kinda strats.

T fair play. My point was that this brawl isn't difficult. Play a midrange deck, play the game like an aggro hunter and you win. The hero power isn't necessarily and the curse is just a nice extra that deals on average 10-14 damage and forces them to spend 4 mana. Super devistating, but not essential.
story time, I played this as Rafaam and the first two treasures I got my hands on were both "The hand of Rafaam" and it did devastating damage, to be precise, 30 damage minimum if they didn't start with bonus mana

Man, I was going to say, I didn't understand all of the criticism this deck was getting. I thought it played really fast. I played all of the other decks before this, Warrior Is played several, several times. But when I played this, I actually got my fastest time out of all of my decks at 28 minutes. You have to consider that I'm playing on my phone, and it can be really slow at times, as it's pretty old. But even with that slowness and TWO DISCONNECTS AND RECONNECTS (which is another issue I have that slows me down), and my ENG wasn't even that good, I've read here that people got WAAYYY better ENG than me. So if you know which decks have the best/biggest minions in them, and you always go for the hero power turn two and maybe 3, then I bet you could win really fast. Although, I think I should note that with the double Rafaam's Cursed Cards treasure, I was killing people on turn 4 or 5 without the RNG. I got at least 2 on turn 4. Damage from the cursed cards is usually 8+8+6+4, unlessnthey have one of those hero powers they MUST play every turn, in which case it usually goes up by a couple of turns. Unless they just suicide immediately LOL.
Im sure you know this by now but best strat is full mulligan for gloves of mugging, never pick hand of rafaam and win real fast. also press button. also pick mountain giants if possible as ur hand is almost always full
So, correct me if I'm wrong, but at 3:05, he could have gotten lethal by playing the Goblin Lackey on one of his 2 attack minions, playing Lifedrinker, and then running all of his bombs into the Flamewaker. He would have him down to 5, so if even two of the bombs hit for 2, He would have won, which he seem to have really great odds of, considering 1 3 or 4 damage roll was a kill as well.

Few problems here. Firstly, the weapon is pathetically weak. Since it loses durability on both your turn and your opponent's turn, that means after you play it, end your turn, your opponent does their turn, and then it your turn again, it is a 2/4 weapon. You attack with it (now its a 2/3), end your turn, your opponent does their turn again, and now its your turn again. The weapon is a 3/1. So you basically paid 3 mana for a Firey War Axe that had 2 attack on its first turn. Also, due to the weapon slowly destroying itself, you can't hold on to it for later, so overall, its a super weak weapon. Secondly, no class would fit this weapon. Warrior, Rogue, Shaman, Paladin, and Hunter are the classes with weapons, and since you don't want it in Warrior, we have the other 4 to work with. Paladin's weapons generally are made with niche effects(healing, dealing damage to yourself, buffing your minions) as opposed to this self-buffing weapon, so this one doesn't fit there. Shaman's weapons generally deal with overload, so this doesn't fit there. Hunter's weapons deal with Beasts, Secrets, or having "Immune while attacking," so this doesn't fit there. That leaves Rogue. Rogue's weapons do many different things, so this could find a home there, maybe. Warrior, similar to Rogue, has weapons with wildly varying effects, but most of them (aside from Wrenchcalibur and maybe Arcanite Reaper) are mostly focused on killing/interecting with minions specifically. So, this weapon wouldn't really fit in any class that actually runs weapons. tl:dr: the weapon idea is super weak and bad and doesn't fit any class.
Genzo gruul says at the end of each turn. It’s an exception. Most end of turn effects say “at the end of your turn” and only happen on the owners turn. I’m assuming the OP meant it like that based on their phrasing
Beat it with Rafam, but had to restart once because Implosion is a pretty good card when it hits x4 back to back. The buckets are terrible, and the starting treasures you get are only so so in terms of quality.
how do u do this in 15 min....... every time i do it its like atleast 35 min like its 8 bosses how do u use less than 2 min per boss thats like turn 3 in a normal game
It was changed before rush was introduced, they came up with rush because they were pretty sick of printing "charge but no face" text on cards (this card, charged devilsaur, Icehowl) Probably didn't change it because making the charge spell not give charge would look really stupid, aside from charge being a classic warrior mechanic which means there are subtle differences between this and just give rush when synergies with other cards come into play
The main reasoning is two fold: 1) We already have a card that works like that it is called 'Rocket Boots', it costs 1 mana more, and draws a card. 2) Charge overwrites the Rush tag and normal attack ability. So if the 'Charge!' spell is used on a minion that can attack face normally, it can now only attack minions. It's dumb, but that's why the naming convention hasn't been changed.
Finished with rafaam after 5-6 times playing. Last week's tavern brawl was ez and I was there very early to it and saw rafaam as a playable character. Last week was my second week of doing tavern brawls so I picked togwaggle and saw that rafaam was gone. Just telling ya.

Here’s a fun little thing I found out, if you have a full hand and use his hero power and you don’t draw a minion the card goes into your deck
