Lauren should be the powerhouse, honestly. I mean just watch the PCA's. Less of Normani honestly. Seems she's always off vocals. She's a better dancer than a singer honestly.

Ally and Dinah are the powerhouses, but they do tend to have more problems with breathing, especially Dinah. Lauren is somewhat in the middle, while Normani controls her breath the most, but her voice isn't as powerful. She's a good singer, though. I find it unfair that you say she's always off when she's pretty much the only one who controls her voice while dancing. She's the best performer by far, just not a powerhouse kind of singer.
+Sayr Dinah has the most powerful voice, actually. But she can't control her breath while dancing (yet). In my opinion, if she work on it she can get pretty good!! 😄
The order of best to "worst" (By technique and support) is: Ally, Dinah, Lauren, Normani. Ally is more consistent than Dinah. If we're adding Camila, it's: Ally, Dinah, Lauren = Camila, Normani. Normani may have the worst technique but she has the widest range. As for who has the most potential as an all round vocalist, it's Dinah. She supports C5 and is the only one who I've heard creat resonance. However, aside from her asthma messing with her breath support, she is incredibly inconsistent. Some days she can support C5/C#5 other days only Bb4. An average female vocalist should be able to support Bb4/B4 which she does, but she also supports C5 on some days so she's Average to Above Average. As for who does what best, Lauren is the only Mezzo (meaning her voice is placed lower than the other girls) With that being said her natural comfort is in her lower range to her Mid range. That would make her the one who handles the low portions of harmonies. Lauren's mixed voice (Belt) is up for debate because she's regressed a little. In Xfacter she supports C5 regularly but now that she's older and her voice darkened it's taken a toll on her belts. So I wouldn't peg her as a power house. We should leave that to both Ally and Dinah.

People who say it sounds better with Camila...DUH. If they had recorded it as 4 then they would do similar if not better ad-libs to fill in the gaps. This song just shows like they were saying, Camila is all over this song. Even in parts where the girls are singing with Camila it's mixed in a way where you DON'T KNOW there is someone else singing. That's horrible. Harmonizing usually involves you hearing more than 1 person lol.

Last week Josh said that 5H sounded like girls while Little Mix sounds like women. I've always thought that it was because of Camila's voice. Like Laura said, Dinah can ad-libs all day and I think that Lauren can do too if she gets her confidence back (cf Sensitive). All these songs without Camila's voice are not the way they would sound like if she was not singing. Harmonies will be different and the other girls will obviously sing her parts in different ways, runs and ad-libs. I want 5H to unleash the vocals now because they can also belt! Again, TMG is proof that the other girls were never given opportunities to shine. Somebody always managed to make Camila's voice sounds overpowering like the rest of them could not sing. Whoever that person is!

I think 5H need to rebrand themselves (their whole sound and name) because people are going to compare them to how they were with Camila since some people were only listening to them because of her(C). RnB is the way I think ..so I hope they ditch POP completely .

TMG with Camila was harsher to the ear. Without her it's bearable. Still not a huge fan of the song in general. It was cute, but 5H is better than cute. Here's to better music in 2017. Let's face it, they never had a shot at a grammy with ANY of the songs they sang or recorded except for the underrated, unpromoted gem "We Know" ("Suga Mama" had potential, too, but it never got promoted). WFH is another bop I love. I want them to win grammys and in order to do that they need songs with deeper meanings and soulful connections. No, pop. No, techno. They need r&b, soulful bops and ballads to ever have a shot at a grammy. They need to call up Kandi Burgess and have her write them a grammy winning smash hit like she did for Destiny's Child "Bills, Bills, Bills" (parallel to "Suga Mama") and for TLC "No Scrubs" (parallel to "We Know"). Come on, label. Hire Kandi!!! Hire Ariana G and or Harry Styles who also write hits. Sam Smith?! There are so many great artists to collab with or to hire to write songs for them. I hope they go with new producers all together. I hope they think outside the box. I want 5H3 to be THEEE album that makes the entire world stop & pay attention, because our girls deserve it.

I actually like Lauren on the chorus so much more than Camila because Lauren's voice matches the intrumentals and vibe of the song better.
I prefer this version over the original. I will say the one thing about the original that I like better is this it has ablibs. Sucks how they couldn't seperate Dinah's and Camila's vocals for that one part.

I CAN say it sounds better. It sounds better. Her childish, nasal ass voice detracted so much from many of their songs. Her voice is only for poppy stuff and it always preventing them from the edge they were able to delve into bit when her voice matured some but especially after she left.
I honestly think now Camila is gone fourth harmony can go Rnb because Camila made everything sound pop and the other four girls have more soulful voices.

so I got into the 5H fandom super late. and when I was watching the x factor performances and then the newer ones it stung me a bit. on the show they always visually portrayed Lauren as sort of the "Leader". with her in the middle, more front stage, ECT. but when reflection came out it was like they were slowly putting Camila in the middle of things. photos, performances, red carpets, ECT. it was kinda subtle. personality wise you knew it was still Lauren but...... I fell like now that it's four Laurens gonna start getting more time, and starting songs, doing runs. I think visually it's gonna look unified like the new pictures, but musically Laurens gonna pick up the slack Camila left. especially when people are people and after Mila she's the most recognizable

On the part where they sing "cut you off" its actually just Camila. Ofc Dinah would sing it live cause it would be weird if she just stopped singing out of nowhere. But think about it, they sang "cut you off so its like Camila is cutting Dinah's singing off when they sing cut you off, that's why they couldn't separate Dinah and Mila's vocals because there was never a part where they sang together!

You don't understand the concept of harmonizing, Camila's work on this song is adorn the song, for example imagine that you have 5 guitars, the 5 guitars can't do the same in a melody because it would be heard completely flat, the main guitar is who is doing the strumming or the base, another guitar then does some solo, another guitar can be doing the same base but in a greater tone, the other in a minor one and there is a guitar that adorns the melody with small effects in specific moments .That is the role of Camila in this song, the difference is that Camila's voice has a unique voice color and distracts you perhaps from the other voices, but throughout the song she is only doing adorns to the song
