Omg know what would have been perfect?! If you put your newer dust collector underneath the jar as you grinded the chalk, and maybe it would have sucked the chalk particles out of the air, and you’re using music when you grind anyway so it wouldn’t have mattered sound wise, I feel so proud for thinking of that xD
For the beginners : A good rule when you create colors is to separate warm colors and cool colors and only mix shades with the same undertone. To avoid the problem of losing some of the color or design when shaping you have to choose the shape first while keeping in mind the length and thickness of the fake nail. If you change your mind during shaping or construction and want to change the shape keep in mind that your structure and design was formed to another shape, you’re gonna have to do some changes or correction in your nail art. You also have to decide which layer of color or glitter go where and in which quantity (to encapsulate, reinforce, shape etc..)

Ok for the last time I said mauve-ish because that color was not all the way mauve. It was talk to text because I'm lazy and use it 99% of the time. I'm not special it was a mistake. Mauve is my go to color for everything. I know how to spell it. Wow mauve-ish isn't even a word...maybe it is. Hell I don't even know anymore. BUT I do know it wasn't a true mauve. It was beautiful though 😍

also, i think maybe they looked bulky in the square shape because you had a darker colour on the end of the nails which drew more attention to it if thay makes sense? if i do square nails, i always use a lighter shade because dark square nails end up looking like some chunky boiiiiis

This was oddly soothing to watch you grind down chalk and mix colors. And those GLITTERS! OMG, they are so pretty! I especially loved the glitters you added to the orange creamsicle mix - the Autumn mix and the Chameleon Green flakes. I need those in my life! And your labels are adorable!
That was such a blast to get to watch you make those. I saw the part 2 before I saw this one and I actually like this clear acrylic better than the more opaque stuff you made in part 2, I think it helps to show the glitter off this way. Also I absolutely love how your nails turned out at the end. If that was a manicure you did on me I’d have been thrilled.
ive been doing this coloured acrylic “hack” for over a year now!! when i made bigger batches of colour, i would put the acrylic powder and chalk (or more recently, pressed pigment eye shadows) in a small high powered blender and pulse them together! i find it makes the acrylic so much more fine and smooth too edit: using a blender also ensures the pigment and powder mixture isnt airborne so you dont breath it in
What type of blender are you using? Is it just a small one that is used to dice vegetables or do you use a regular size blender? Im curious because of how much you would make at a time. Doing some of this myself but just stirring it up. Always up for new tips and tricks.

Emily Susanah that color is like a summer green bright... just to make that right green yellow acrylic for the nails I can't believe that's made out of chalk you mix it up with acrylic and the other color that it looks like light burgundy color that one looks more like .. and the Halo pieces of glitter. I think this is so different than actually using nail polish.. it's like you add it made it different the glitter looks more like a dragonfly color it's so satisfying to watch because it's like you got a lot of confetti Glitters and different shades and colors 💕💕💕💕💕🦋🦋🦋🦋 I'm excited see the tan color made out of chalk and acrylic I don't know it looks more like a caramel color it's pretty okay..💕💕💕💕💕💕💅💅wow look like a peppermint Ivy color Circle gold glitter very tiny
Just a quick tip from one nail tech to another, using loose eyeshadows and pigments will give you awesome results and you probably already have a bunch, it’s what I use when making a custom color as they have no oil or binders in them like pressed eyeshadows. Hth XOX Luna 💅🏻💅🏻

I hope you make a video with you using the other colors (IE alien spit omg) I also think this would be a great activity for beginners cause it's way cheaper to mix a few small jars of every color rather than drop a bunch of cash for every shade you want.
