I’ve always thought Artemis, being the goddess of the hunt, would be a great mid game boss in the new games! I just imagine that after the destruction of Olympus she has been hunting Kratos, would be a really interesting moment for Atreus too, seeing the effect of what Kratos has done to Greece and gods of Olympus
I would love to see one of the minor Greek gods like Dionysus and Artemis show up in the Norse games as refugees from what remains of Greece. Artemis has to be alive, but she's been absent since the very first game with no context as to what happened to her other than her forests were being trashed (probably by Kratos and/or the Spartans). Dionysus could be in another land like Egypt enjoying the food and drink as is his nature as the party god.
Alot of the gods left Olympus in the novel. Demeter, hestia and a couple others left Olympus because they didn't like kratos. Apollo and Artemis weren't among those gods that left so I have no idea what happened to them.
In a chapter of the second novelisation, Athena has heard Artemis has become a complete outsider and retreated to the forest were she avoids everyone, including the wild animals she cares so much about.
I hated Artemis wasn't a boss in GOW3. Replace the ice scorpion with her so when she does, Kratos looks up to see the moon fall to the world. How epic.
There’s so many remaining that we didn’t get to see for some reason. Hestia, Demeter, Apollo, Dionysus which were the remaining of the big Olympian group. As a fun little thing I can see Eris, Goddess of Strife just taking over for the hell of it. Supposedly, she was MIA because of the events in God of War 2. According to the novels, the forests she had domain over were being screwed over so she had to tend to them.

I was thinking about Tyr's Mural showing 4 different cultures/Patheons (Greek, Norse, Egyptian, and Japanese) he can travel to. I would love a payoff where after GOW: Ragnarok its the Gods that have survived Kratos onslaught either come together to kill Kratos or feeling that other patheons are in a weakend state, decide to spread there rule across the world (Battle of cultures/gods). Imagine after Ragnorok we find out that Freya takeovers after Odin's (probably) death and finds out that Greece is without Godly protection or that there is a God named Athena who also wants Kratos dead for what he did to the Greek Patheon.
I know he's not a god, nor did he die by Kratos's hand but if somehow, Deimos was resurrected/brought back, ooooh baby. like maybe have a mysterious Greek styled guardian angel who you find out over time is Deimos.
Johnny Cage: “Ma’am, I don’t care how attractive you are. No Mortal in the right mind should ever worship Zeus.” Aphrodite: “You shouldn’t be offensive to my father.” *jiggles boobs* Johnny Cage: “Can you please stop doing that?”
Fairly sure Aphrodite actually is one of the few Olympians who ISNT related to Zeus. I vaguely recall her legend having her being born from sea foam and the blood of the Titans.
I imagine Dionysus, Apollo, Artemis, Demeter, and Hestia teamed up against Kratos, beat him, but refused to kill him to avoid giving him a reason to come for them. They banish him, and focus on fixing Greece.
Artemis and Apollo don't sound like they were tainted by Pandora's Box. Aphrodite was probably freed from the curse of Pandora's Box after Kratos destroyed Olympus.
Kratos just banged Aphrodite. He never went up against Demeter (Mother of Persephone) Hestia, Dionysus, the four winds Boreas, Notus, Zephyrus, Eurus. Hebe, Eros, Psyche, Artemis, Apollo, Nemesis, Pan, Triton, Amphitrite, Kymopolea, Rhodos, The Nereids, The Oceanids and a couple hundred minor Gods. The list really goes on and on. The Greek Pantheon was majorly underutilized.
Just from seeing the title I was wondering if the remaining Greek gods will attempt to join forces with the Aesir with the common goal being Kratos. Certainly the case that Athena can intrude in Kratos’ head so who or what else could cause bother?!
I was hoping they would touch a little more on Kratos past and allowing more callbacks to the Greek mythos. Would've been nice to have a dream sequence in which the player gets to play a past memory of when Kratos was in Greece with his wife and daughter and maybe wake up and tell Atreus about his half Greek sister who died.
@@justafriendlyspy5965 Oh, Yeah. Just watched the god kill compilation, your right. Also looked up their actual mythology, no wonder I got them confused, very similar.
If Kratos ever does return to Greece, in some future storyline, I'd like to see Apollo and Artemis leading the remaining Greek Gods in the rebuilding of Greece. Seeing as they and many of the other Greek Gods that remain have helped both Kratos and humans in the different trials and tribulations that they have gone through, I think it would make for a very interesting story, as the change in their leadership and how these different responsibilities and the passage of time, would have changed these Gods themselves. I also think that their natures, the domains of most of these Gods have to do with growth or recovery, (Apollo - Light, Artemis - Nature, Demeter - Agriculture, Asclepius - Health), would fit for these Gods to be a radical change from the previous rule of Zeus. Also, the family dynamic would be🤩 incredible story-wise. Apollo and Artemis, twins of Zeus and so brother and sister to Kratos, Demeter, Sister of Zeus, and Amphitrite and Triton, Wife and Son of Poseidon, like… there is some serious shit to be worked out there😂 Also, since Apollo is the National God of the Greeks and Artemis is one of the most greatly venerated Greek Gods, it just feels like it would fit for them to now be leading things, since the fall of Greece. My two cents at least.
I’d love to see their reaction when they see Kratos coming back to see what remains of Greece😂 their faces would be priceless, watching the Ghost of Sparta return, when last time he brought Olympus down and is responsible for the destruction of Greece
@@evilTaker90V2 Exactly, time for some family therapy all around😂 The self hatred that Kratos feels for everything that happened and then the fear and hatred that the remaining Greek Gods would have for Kratos, like, that would be a gold mine for the GoW storyline/lore.
I do have a feeling we will see Athena again I don’t know why but we saw she still torments kratos (Whether he’s just seeing her in his head not real or she appears to antagonise kratos) just makes me think we will see her again.
If Kratos would encounter Olympian gods again it would be their Roman Pantheon versions cause they are basically the same people just with different names
If we are talking primordial deities that were never featured in the GOW series, there is [among others] Tartarus (sometimes just depicted as a dark pit where the Titans and enemies of the gods are kept), Chaos (the original nothingness from which Gaia was born), and Pontus (the boundless waters that encompass the Earth; he may be more peaceful in nature from what I've heard, but Poseidon still had big sandals to fill when he took the seas as his kingdom.) Typhon and Echidna would have been interesting enemies to see Kratos fight against; like the Atlas and Kronos boss fights, these giant monsters require hard hits and multiple gods to keep in check, Echidna more so since she is considered "the mother of monsters" for good reason. The Hydra, the Sphinx, Cerberus, and the Chimera are all counted amongst her children. Circe is, indeed, a daughter of Helios, but is generally considered a demigod and a powerful sorceress. She is aunt to another sorceress too, who is alternatively feared and venerated (depending where you are in her story): Medea. All this talk of Amphitrite and Triton, Nereid queen of Poseidon and his son and heir respectively, have me wondering where Njord is in the Norse universe. He is the Norse god of waters and all the bounty possessed therein, although there are primordial Jotnar deities still living there too. Did I mention he's the third and final Vanir god that "changed pantheons" during the hostage exchange to end the infamous Aesir-Vanir war? We have seen Freya (a combination of Frigga and Freya from the original myths) and heard mention of Freyr already (That boar that Atreus wounded and Freya worked to save when they first met? That was reference to the legendary Golden Boar, forged by rival dwarves to Brök and Sindri, that was gifted to Freyr to be his mount. I was able to work out Freya's identity easily thanks to this.)
It would be awsome if Apollo went to Egypt and became Ra, then when he hears about what happened with Ragnarok. He uses the egyptian pantheon for revenge.
I imagine now that Zeus and Helios are dead that Morpheus comes back and puts the other Gods to sleep. I mean, that’s what happened in Chains of Olympus
I can imagine Kratos traveling to Greece with Tyr and encountering Thanatos seeking revenge, Thanatos was dead, but Kratos caused so much death and destruction that it would have power to make him be again, i could see he being reborn sometime after the end of god of war 3
2 that are missed are helios sister dont know her name but she helps kratos in chains of olympus and morphus god of dusk he is mentioned in chains of olympus
I feel like demeter is deqd by the third game since hera has dominion over plant life not demeter. Meaning she might have lost her powers. Eos is definetely dead to since she relies on helios go have power.
Morpheus, the antagonist of one of the games is never seen, and Kratos never seems to go after him either. Aphrodite could in theory still be around too. Hestia who stood down as one of the Olympians in favour of Dionysus, but despite being one of the more colourful Gods he doesn't seem to be in-game.
well the major one that powerhouse of gods are died and well know in the entire Greek worlds and so it possible well less know Gods could survived and took over since not only the big 3 brother are gone Zeus, hades and Poseidon and other powerful Gods are died and that any less powerful God that didn't have alot power in Olympian could easily saw a opportunity to take over and some probably would thank Kratos kill the big Gods and some may hate him cause either some may be close to Zeus or any of the other Gods Kratos kill or since the world don't respect and believe in the Gods, they could lose power or lose follower cause of Kratos
In most depictions Triton is a merman and Amphitrite is the goddess of the sea so she would most likely have survived probably escaping to the ruins of Atlantis with Pontus and the nereids
I wanted to see demeter come flip when kratos killed her daughter, seeing as how in mythology she was willing to let the entire world starve when hades took her down to the underworld
Looking from the first god of war novel, Athena is actually very evil! She is a scheming goddess, she manipulated zeus and ares and then wanted Kratos to kill zeus. She manipulates all the gods to help kratos when Kratos fights ares, Artemis, Aphrodite, hades, and even Poseidon. She is the one who moved all the puppet strings, even her death u can argue she planned it
Even Enyo(Greek goddess of War and destruction), Eilèithyia(Greek goddess of childbirth and obstetrics) and Hebe(goddess of Youth, third wife of Herackles or mostly known as Hercules) doesn’t appear in the main Timeline of God Of War!
I would love for thor to be somewhat of a wild card on Ragnarok first making a deal with Artemis or Apollo to grant them and help them get revenge on kratos for destroying the greek pantheon then turning his back on them on the last moment and killing them himself proving that he truly doesnt care about any one but him self then fights kratos himself!!!
I think some gods should be in GoWR as memories or visions, and it would be a mistake to revive those gods who were dead. However, we will see it in November.
It would be cool if Apollo and Artemis just showed up in the Norse games and where like we got unfinished business brother. however I think Kratos needs a Greek family win maybe one is the main bad guy and the other helps him then Atreus can have an aunt or uncle that's alive and is not trying to kill his dad.

Dionysus,Hecate,Hestia,Demeter,Artemis,Nike,Nemesis,Themis,Morpheus,Eileithyia,Hebe,Eirene,Apollo,Triton,Eris,Eros,Iris,Helena,Macaria,Despina,Asclepius,Melinoe and Hypnos along with the creatures:
Ceto,Phorcys,Cerberus,Orthrus,Echidna,Ladon,Sphinx and Karkinos/Carcinus
they should have been in God of war 3 mainly having participated in the franchise and having more games they are absolutely necessary and I don't know why they weren't used and included In this game and this franchise that was supposed to be the final and be with the mains Gods who died and I also think there should be more two Greek games to close the franchise adding all these Gods,Creatures and Semi Gods/Heroes in the next games
and I believe that in the future they can be used in future games when Kratos returns to Greece and these forgotten Gods,Creatures and Greek Heroes want revenge for everything that happened against now a good Kratos that became the new God of Hope It will be interesting/Incredible to see let's wait and pray for this to happen in the future.. 🤔🥺🤧😯😎✌️🙏 🙏 like and Bye!
You forgot to mention Boreas God of the northern wind. He's mentioned in 2 separate gow games
No Mortal in the right mind should ever worship Zeus.”
Aphrodite: “You shouldn’t be offensive to my father.” *jiggles boobs*
Johnny Cage: “Can you please stop doing that?”
They banish him, and focus on fixing Greece.
athena vision might not have been in his head but actual ghost like in the past games still haunting him and speaking to him
Artemis and Apollo don't sound like they were tainted by Pandora's Box. Aphrodite was probably freed from the curse of Pandora's Box after Kratos destroyed Olympus.
Cal you are the man, great vids!
Love these type of videos you make please do more
No weird shit but Athena was Dumb Fine 🤷🏾♂️
U trippin'
I would live to see Hecate the goddess who raises Zeus and Queen of the cross roads and witches
I must be crazy, but I could have sworn we ripped off Apollo's head in GOW3, and wasn't he captured in chains of Olympus?
Nah that has Helios head we ripped off & also him being captured in Chains of Olympus
@@justafriendlyspy5965 Oh, Yeah. Just watched the god kill compilation, your right. Also looked up their actual mythology, no wonder I got them confused, very similar.
I think a bunch of Gods survived in Greece since Kratos gave the Pantheon hope when he stabbed himself
I've been asking the question what Greek gods are still alive. Thanks for this video HBTW 😁
I do have a feeling we will see Athena again I don’t know why but we saw she still torments kratos (Whether he’s just seeing her in his head not real or she appears to antagonise kratos) just makes me think we will see her again.
You forgot Helios’s sisters. Eos, The goddess of dawn and (despite never making a appearance in the series) Selene, the goddess of the moon.
If Kratos would encounter Olympian gods again it would be their Roman Pantheon versions cause they are basically the same people just with different names
Not the same they would be more militant and serious probably less indulgent
What about Nox and Nemesis. Godess of night and Godess of judgement.
If we are talking primordial deities that were never featured in the GOW series, there is [among others] Tartarus (sometimes just depicted as a dark pit where the Titans and enemies of the gods are kept), Chaos (the original nothingness from which Gaia was born), and Pontus (the boundless waters that encompass the Earth; he may be more peaceful in nature from what I've heard, but Poseidon still had big sandals to fill when he took the seas as his kingdom.)
Typhon and Echidna would have been interesting enemies to see Kratos fight against; like the Atlas and Kronos boss fights, these giant monsters require hard hits and multiple gods to keep in check, Echidna more so since she is considered "the mother of monsters" for good reason.
Not to mention the other Titans that that were never fought kratos
Zeus mom who hid him from Chronos and all the other Titans/Gods who weren't corrupted by Pandora's box.
You forgot Morpheus who is currently still imprisoned in another dimension.
What about Dionysius and Hestia they were also mentioned in the Novelization of God of War 2
Nobody mentioning the hunter Adonis. I never even would’ve known about him if I didn’t search what my name meant
Apollo, Artemis, Hestia, surely Afrodite and Dionysus...
I kind of want Aphrodite to have survived and bore a vengeful child of Kratos. After all the last thing Kratos did with her was a trip to bonetown.
Dionysus could still be alive too, cant imagine he'd be much of a threat to kratos though
The God of Madness, Wine, and depending on certain artistic interpretations of him, Twinks too.
Hi history i have two gods you missed Eos and Rhea 👍
What game is being played in the background? It looks like a multiplayer of God of War?
I'm curious if leonidas was in the god of war universe
Yes He was
In my head canon, the Army of Sparta's power from GoW 3 says yes 🤣
zeus appeared as well in the 4th line games technically
Wasn’t Morpheus still alive at the end of chains of Olympus?
Didn't even think about this. I'd wait till 2023 if they put some surviving Olympian gods in the game
To see one of these gods in the future wanting revenge on kratos could be a cool characters for future video games
I can imagine Kratos traveling to Greece with Tyr and encountering Thanatos seeking revenge, Thanatos was dead, but Kratos caused so much death and destruction that it would have power to make him be again, i could see he being reborn sometime after the end of god of war 3
What about eos from chains of Olympus
I think all just pop up as Roman Gods. Changing their names to hide from Kratos.
Artemis was never mentioned again after you get her sword
Was the Ascension comic ever published?
Morpheous, imagine him returning and casting a never ending stupor on Greece.
It would have been cool if they gave us a game surrounding the competition for the Ambrosia
well the major one that powerhouse of gods are died and well know in the entire Greek worlds and so it possible well less know Gods could survived and took over since not only the big 3 brother are gone Zeus, hades and Poseidon and other powerful Gods are died and that any less powerful God that didn't have alot power in Olympian could easily saw a opportunity to take over and some probably would thank Kratos kill the big Gods and some may hate him cause either some may be close to Zeus or any of the other Gods Kratos kill or since the world don't respect and believe in the Gods, they could lose power or lose follower cause of Kratos
What gameplay is shown at the apollo bit?
What game is being played at the 6:05 minute mark?
Bro make a full story prediction like kaptain Kuba with ur takes on story,I hope you do so
IM HERE DAMN IT IM HERE BEFORE 100!!!
I personally think that the Norse saga should last more than two games, kratos/atreus should move to Egypt or aztec
Aztec would be amazing. Mesoamerican gods are so sick, but are rarely featured in video games.
slavic pantheon even though it’s very similar to norse
Don't forget Nemesis, Moros, Hypnos, Morpheus and many others.
I hope every realm is actually as big as Midgard as I thought in the first game some were very lack lustre
In most depictions Triton is a merman and Amphitrite is the goddess of the sea so she would most likely have survived probably escaping to the ruins of Atlantis with Pontus and the nereids
How will they change the skills? Do we have to start over getting those old skills again?
I feel like her appearance in GOW4 were j hallucinations like Dexter Morgan has
Names of games being played in this video?
I wanted to see demeter come flip when kratos killed her daughter, seeing as how in mythology she was willing to let the entire world starve when hades took her down to the underworld
What game is he playing in the background?
Apollo god of light. Helps fight the giant serpent. Jordangundr? Just as he fought delphi
This guy killed everyone but Aphrodite of love, Artemis of the hunt , and Dyinises of drinking alcohol.
She is the one who moved all the puppet strings, even her death u can argue she planned it
What did you expect from goddess of wisdom?
Perhaps Atreus have brother or sister 😁when Kratos and Aphrodite have horizontal mambo!
I think some gods should be in GoWR as memories or visions, and it would be a mistake to revive those gods who were dead. However, we will see it in November.
Morpheus The God of Dreams from Chains of Olympus. He was placing the other gods to sleep, he's probably alive too
It would be cool if Apollo and Artemis just showed up in the Norse games and where like we got unfinished business brother. however I think Kratos needs a Greek family win maybe one is the main bad guy and the other helps him then Atreus can have an aunt or uncle that's alive and is not trying to kill his dad.
