- Installation video of the 4X Innovations shackle flip kit. Offers great flex and lift for the rear at a decent cost.

Aloha!
Been thinking about this kit for my truck. Truck looks killah!!
You should do it bro. Mahalo cuz
@@LuauTaco did you flex it out?
@@kaleo_p not yet. I gotta find some time to bring it in the shop to do more clearance cutting
@@LuauTaco where did you find the steel it paint?
@@kaleo_p you can order it on Amazon or through SDHQ. I recommend buying it by the case though.
Another question do you daily drive this truck. I wanna do this to my truck but I’m on the fence..
Sure do. Haha
@@LuauTaco do you feel a night and day difference. Like does it feel smoother while daily driving on road
@@kegandelmar8489 somewhat. Notice it had more flex. But depending on the leaf pack setup, you can get a little more axle wrap.
@@LuauTaco I’m running 5” over stock atlas leaf pack no block. Bought it from top notch automotive from hilo…. How likely do you recommend the shackle flip. I want to to get it but I’m unsure
@@kegandelmar8489 all depends what you’re looking for. If it’s a super tall truck, it might not ride too good. More axle wrap plus steeper driveshaft angles might not be the move.
What lift kit do u have shocks height so on
There was an Eibach pro truck lift on it with the front spacer to make it a 3” lift. Currently it’s in the shop getting a major suspension upgrade
@@LuauTaco What lift is on it rn?
@@thepickaxe3811 now it has a Marlin Crawler RCLT HD kit and Locked off-road suspension
Do you think this would be a good mod to do for a heavy Tacoma, almost 850 extra lbs in the back? And what are your plans for shocks in the back. Reading the website it says to use 27 inch travel shocks.
I think it would be fine just make sure you have a decent shackle angle. If you have 850lbs of constant load, I would consider getting a full leaf pack too. For the shocks in the rear I have Locked off-road 2.5 12 inch shocks with the resis. I also did a archive garage shock relocation to fit those. Hope it helps
Hey sorry to bother. What did you torque the mounting hardware to for the bracket to the frame? Thanks!
Get it the ‘ol good and tight. Prob around 80 ft/lb
What’s under your Jack stands?
45lb rubber plates lol
Did you notice a difference in ride quality?
It’s a little hard to say right now because I put the block back in to get a measurement. I don’t recommend running the block and shackle flip together.
What Eibach kit are you using?
It’s the Eibach pro-truck lift.
