- We continued our unbeaten streak in the Premier League this week with a vital win over Manchester City, and you can enjoy all the pitchside reactions to our victory with Bench Cam.
Our cameras were on hand to capture Mikel Arteta's touchline motivation for our squad as we held the defending champions at bay, before Gabriel Martinelli's late strike made Emirates Stadium erupt.

I want to hear what VAR talked about for both of Kovacic’s clear red cards that weren’t given.
Now i see it: Mikel instructed the whole goal scenario in a single play to these substitutes. Tomi to go upfront, together with Kai to create channel and become two tower attackers. Kai also received well and knew what he was gonna do next cause Tomi attracts both foden and walker, Kai attracts both Ake, Gvardiol to him and then passed it to gabi who without any marking cause he knew gabi will go into the open space channel in front of these defenders that they left. Nothing fluke about this goal, it was orchestrated, build up and executed very good.

@@dinoceman9663ofc, only salty city fans that think it was a lucky goal. Then every error should be considered lucky too, cause we made it against them last year. Now, both team very good on defensive area, a deflection didn't took away of how the goal was initiated by our own manager and players, not by opponent error. The fact that gaby can shot unmark is the sign that the tactic was spot on.

Did anyone notice the amount of instructions passed on to the players by the coaching staff after the goal.
Wow, this is a Super team. The aim is to win the league this season and other titles. This team deserves to win titles this season.
What's more telling is _who_ the instructions were given to. Declan Rice has been at the club for two seconds and he's already one of the leaders.

You are Absolutely spot on... A fine brew I would say, having been a player & captain under one of the finest coaches ever (Arsen Wenger), and then Assistant Coach to another one of the finest Coaches (Pep)... I pray he gets maximum time & support from both management and players. I see the gunners with at least 2 trophies this season...

@@skee9841 We are not talking about managerial skills here. Arteta is the second best thing after Wenger because of how he loved the club. He came in when the club was in complete turmoil, deadwoods everywhere. Pep won everything with City but I'm 100% sure he doesn't love the club as much as Arteta loves Arsenal. Arteta spent his final playing days (second choice at best) with us but his love for the club is enormously more than our so-called Arsenal blood players (e.g. RVP and Fabregas who left us when we needed them).

100% he is getting impatient for partey to play the ball, then just watched the move unfold. The set piece coach seems to have a particularly enthusiastic celebration which you normally only see when Arsenal score from a corner or free kick. He was no doubt involved in practising that move!
The good thing is that we can now give saka a 2 weeks rest. Need our star boy fit💪
I feel like martinelli possess more threat on the left. The ball is always on the right when saka is on the field
With the exception of timber in 2 weeks we should be back to full strength!

Martinelli playstyle is simple for defender to learn and used to it than Saka (also ability to work well with White and Odegaard too .ake him more dangerous), so keep the ball on the right area most time will make left area attack more effect when we have the change.

Still absolutely buzzing after that win! Not only did we finally end the hoodoo. We managed to keep a Clean sheet, keep Haaland quiet and restrict them to just 4 shots on goal. That Defence was special and the subs worked a treat 🔴⚪🔥

Absolutely huge win. The manager (Mikel) talking to Martin and Declan immediately after we scored shows what leaders they are for our club. To be so young - both only 24 - and taking on the responsibility to lead a big club like Arsenal is massive. When your best players also have exceptional leadership qualities success is sure to follow!

Without realizing it, Arsenal's goal process was carried out by 4 substitute players, Partney passed to Tomi then passed to Harvest and ended with Martineli's kick and goal.
I credit Partey more for this goal for his vision with that beauty of a long range pass. That game would be a draw without him on the pitch no cap.

Mikel Arteta raising his arms to notice Partey, Odegaard told Partey to came a little bit forward, Rice told Partey to pass it long to the space, Tomiyasu little glimpse to Foden and then running into the space, Havertz started running the exact same time Tomiyasu was running, Martinelli forced Walker to stay out wide, Ben White attracted City players to stay out wide on the other side. This state of play was pure brilliant coordinations and brilliant understanding of the tactics. GENIUS, ABSOLUTELY GENIUS!

Watching this video for the Arsenal goal against Manchester City, I realise that Partey's long range pass to Tomiyasu wasn't a fluke but very deliberate ( watch Arteta's reaction telling Partey to look up front).
Tomiyasu and Kai Havertz were meant to be in the box for the pass.
That was the instruction Arteta was communicating with the 3 guys when they were about to be introduced.
And, it works 👌

Martinelli is truly gem of a player. He was so aggressive and direct and caused absolute chaos. What we’ve been missing this season. We are so blessed to have Saka and Martinelli on either side. And they are still so young!
Martinelli single handedly created chaos against Liverpool and City last to last season. He becomes a different beast when playing these teams
He seems to have fallen off lately unfortunately. Cost us two point by missing that goal against Atalanta.
@@holdtightadele8017 it’s sad isn’t it? He doesn’t fit our current system. It is no coincidence his performance dipped after Xhaka left. Xhaka is a player who is very direct and help to transit very swiftly from defence to attack which Martinelli needs as he cause the most damage when he has space to run. We are more possession base now and he suffers from it. But he still tries his best, just no output to show for. I really like him as a player and I think he’ll thrive in a team like Aston Villa which plays more direct
