Interesting, I've never played any live roll playing games but the book still sounds like I'd like it. The cover art on the US book club edition is so awesome too.
Is that the one with the gold dragon in the background? That is very pretty though not as relevant to the story as some of them. I think, you probably will quite like this one. The plot twists will probably intrigue you and if you have ever been to an amusement park the beginning is fun. The old school RPG gamer will get more of the in jokes, but I don't think that should be a problem if you don't.
