Noticed that Jota has literally never lost to an actual point... it's either through a jido or a foul. No Hanpans, jeolpans, or yuhyos. This dude is legit awesome.
He never let his opponent to score...
facts i love this judo series for:
1. great coaches (coach lee and coach cho) - cham! got to say they're pretty smooth with their compliments that apparently place the players in their optimal mental state to want to try their best
2. support pillars (lee hun, se won) - they do not tire training and are sincerely cheering for their members despite their lesser chances of having a match of their own
3. wild cards (haengju, hogeol) - sooo neat to see the underdogs rise up to the challenge despite their history of loss from their first appearance
4. the driver (kang hodong) - he just brings up the spirit of sports and entertainment together. got to give him the credits for giving the other members credits he too deserves
5. the aces (jaeyoon, jotta) - they can't get any more perfect with each advancing episode

Jota's matches are always heart wrenching to watch. He fights like there's no tomorrow! I think so far, Jota lost only on fouls in those few matches that he lost in cool kids. I have not seen him lost by a fall. He really never shows his back! I am always in awe of his 360 degrees turn when he defends. His opponent is really strong and currently in a team, Jota has retired for 3 years. That too make a difference. On Top of that Jota was sick that day. So Jota did really well. He could hardly stand up and makes my heart ache. His Cool kids Hyungs and his madtown members, all looked so worried for him. Jota, please be safe and healthy........
no matter how many times jota lost to his opponents, it seemed like he never lost all, A NATIONAL JUDOKA, A MEMBER OF NATIONAL RESERVE TEAM AND THIS GUY JOINING A TEAM. He never fails to amaze me at all. 사랑해 JOTA
Has anyone else here just fallen in love with Jaeyoon???? In every episode he gives me another reason to love him - just look at 1:09:58 he is comforting haengju, and again at 1:10:12 you can see him comforting Jota. Bearing in mind that he lost as well, and he is also upset, he's a pretty amazing guy - selfless and supporting he is such husband material. I'm so glad that he is on the next sport, and hope he never leaves because we definitely need someone like him on the team as a permanent member. jaeeeyooooon saranghae !!!

cornflakes ID of course, to be even chosen to represent Korea in judo in the Olympics demonstrates that he is the elite of the elite. But to win a gold Olympic medal means he was the best of all the judokas in the world that day. He has already reached that pinnacle level. No average Joe is a match for him
would like to add that he's not just any other olympic gold medalist tbh. if you go back to the episode where they had song daenam and choi minho spar against jaeyoon and jota, both are also national team coaches and also olympic gold medalists, and they weren't even sparring with the extra handicaps that coach lee had in this match (consecutive matches, hanpan/ippon to win and yuhyo/yuko to lose), and he still managed to beat both decisively in 2 mins each. although he did have an advantage over the other two coaches because he knows his players' strengths and weaknesses well.
vs jaeyoon, song daenam spent a lot of time curled up defensively to avoid armlocks, but the one time LWH ended up on the ground with jaeyoon he managed to extract himself even before jaeyoon had a chance to grab him. dont know if jaeyoon's strategy was only to tire coach lee out but he barely attacked before he got tricked by that fake step in/sweep followed by that beautifully executed throw (tai otoshi i think it is)
jota had a couple of almost chances but couldn't convert to a score. and while jota usually spins mid fall to land on his front, LWH seems to be able to anticipate and cut off the momentum of attacks even before they can be fully executed on him. choi minho earned a jeolban off jota with an ankle hook, but coach lee got him completely with the ankle sweep, seems like a defensive blind spot for him lol.
Jota it's ok. You did well. Every episodes I always look forward for Jota fight because the skill he used always amazed me.
Me too. Its just too bad he lost in this match but it was well fought. Im still proud of him. And too think his groupmates were there to cheer him on (first time) hehehe.... Jota hang in there , good job and good luck with you next match. Sarang hae.

Jota should be proud of himself. He never gives up! Jota has the agility of a Feline. Park Junho got some mad skills! CKOTB have truly come a LONG way & Improved their skills. I am proud of ALL of them.
I really want KBS released extended version of all Judo episodes that contain all the scenes that not showed such as when the member had belt test, kang hodong and choi minho eating noodle competition and full scene lee wonhee against the member. It makes me sick everytime i saw the preview but couldn t watch it in next episode.Who s with me?Sorry for bad english :(
I was really looking forward to the Cool Kiz competing against their coach Lee Won Hee... so sad, that they only showed a shortcut of almost everyone :/
But Lee Won Hee is truly amazing! He definitely lives up to his name and title as a champion! Again, I realized today, why I love him so much!
And this is why they won an award....

+Naima Ikr, not just in this episode, but all in all they had so much to do, but too little air time..it's kinda sad, I think it would be a good idea to release additional video cuts of these scenes which were edited out :)

Oh Jota cried again but this time bcs his lost at match with park junho...but still he did a god job...his divense skill is so amazing....he loss his energy easily bcs he was feeling not well he has a cold.... jota cried maybe bcs he dont want his members disapponted to watch his figh and lost....oh pure jota...What u did now is Good enough don blame your self....we still love and proud of u and support u till the end

can u tell me what the reason instead? are he sad bcs Judo game(his life dream) in cool kiz will be ended that quickly? so he'll be lonley again in original chedule with no Judo activity? i can feel how his love for judo..just like me i leaved volleyball 10years ago..have many regret for leave my hoby for too long...
He cried because he was disappointed with himself. He really wanted to win but he was disqualified. He is still awesome for me even if he did not win though :)
+Anon Sage yes i know...bcs he was sich have a cold so he cant gader his stengh...we can see his move's so slower than before not realy agresive and energic...thats way he dessapointed himself for being weak bcs of his illness during that day...but he still my ace.... he loved judo than everyting
Gosh! Jota makes me cry nearly every episode, he's such a fighter. I was already tearing up when haengju turned around because it was hard to watch~ his matches are always so heartracing~
Madtown cheering for him was hella cute though^^
I love that the KBS says that Haengju isn't bad at judo, he is just unfortunate.

Next sport is volleyball, jota and jaeyoon would be on the team as well as the info shown. Theres another member ryohei, people who actually watch roommate would know he is a pro at volleyball so i think he would be the ace

Eventhough Jota lose this match, but i feel proud to him because he always met strong opponent (also Ace from other side) & for me the result doesn't matter, the most important is the process. Jota already did his best, 5 minutes match was tough.

I been watching this variety show since before but only judo team making me crazy..i feel im fighting also i cant stop screaming .the skills, attitude, all etc. It takes me a deep heartbreaking when the CKOTB team exhausted..

I don't want judo to end:(Im gonna miss the coaches.This edition made me want to learn Judo.Lee wonhee is a really great judo player and coach managing to carry out his skills so swiftly and such neat wins consecutively,his Athens match in the 2004 Olympics showed his "badassness".Its funny how the members were unable to even score a moderate score against him, hope they continue to practice Judo even when this sport edition ends.I anticipate the next sport since jota jaeyoon and ryohei will be on:)Hope the coaches will make an appearance again

Great episode even if the team didn't win. Nice to see Madtown getting some attention and Jota will be around for Volleyball. The past two sports have really revived this show. Sidenote: Haengju's opponent looks like a young Johnny Depp.
Just like the quote from the previous episode "not all fights can be won", well yeah... i didnt want to read the comments below bf watching but i did took a quick view and it seemed there were no comments about jota winning... im sad and rules are rules, but still think its unfair for him lose with a foul, its not like he did plan it while making a move... its okay jota, you did very well and did your best!! so the next episode its the last one??!!
