Does GRE not have the arithmetic and geometric progression questions?? Like calculating the nth term of an AP/GP (or) finding the sum of the n terms of AP/GP

In this problem, the form of the sequence is such that each term is 9 bigger than the one before it. So from 1 --> 2 it increases by 9. From 2 --> 3 it increases by 9, and so on. To go from 1 --> 35, there are 34 "increases" of 9. So the 35th term = 11 + (34*9) = 317.

how you can assume there is 10 bull eye

Good question - when the sentence says "10 seconds to shoot 10 arrows and hit all bullseyes" it means that each of the 10 arrows hit a bulls-eye. We can definitely see the confusion! A typical target for an archer would have a single "bulls-eye" and so this sentence is saying that all 10 arrows landed in the area of the target known as the "bulls-eye."
