This was shoot in their house. the Bedroom was Hobi and Jimin's, In the Forest (in the Soop) one of their reality/vacation show. Like an Arrow (Shoots or pictures)
They wanted to comfort ARMY during this pandemic. You could see the sadness in V's eyes looking at the stadium. Such a beautiful song and MV. Also was performed alot without Suga because of his surgery. You could tell they missed Suga during their performances.
I remember staying up all night waiting for this to come out at 5am in the morning and I didn’t go to sleep till lole 6.30 because I was watching this on repeat 😂😍

This song came out BEFORE we had the vaccine...I was terrified...this song really comforted me💜 2 other songs to comfort us during that time were "Still with you" and "Stay Gold"
the other music video versions were released after the official one so they weren’t streamed as much and/or just not as well known of as the original/official one
"Like and echo in the forest the day will surly return"; the normal life we are used to. "Like and arrow through the blue sky"; a passage of time that seems to be moving too fast. "ON my pillow, on my table" a representation of every day things like sleeping and eating.
Life Goes on was the first song predominantly in Korean that debuted at #1 on Billboard Hot 100. And it was mostly due to sales and streaming because US radio stations wouldn't play it. Radio play accounts for a large part of ranking on the Hot 100.

Jin looking back at his younger brothers while they are going towards the stadium hits me hard. He gives them that concerned parent look making sure everyone is okay. Also, Before the video transitions to black-and-white Jin also looks at his younger brothers to make sure everybody's still OK. 💜
the world did change but this song gave hope that one day life would resume to some kind of normalcy. BTS was just as affected with not being able to perform beside ARMY.
Im in love with this song and MV, the song is just so catchy and it kinda has the R&B feel to it.
The MV is just so sweet and innocent looking, it is just the lads going on about their normal lives and just doing what they love, U also love just how laid back the MV is.
This song is a song that we all needed to hear especially after the year we have had and still having, the message os so thoughtful and inspiring that no matter what happens ‘Life Goes On’ as normals as possible and you just have to keep being you also the song has also reminded me to ‘Just Remember’ that ‘Life Goes On’ and we just have to keep doing what we do and keep being happy, also the beat of the song has a calming effect that can help anyone to relax.
I just love how thoughtful the BTS lads are, always thinking of us ARMYs and making sure we are always smiling and feeling happy.

I followed the creation of the BE album and watching this MV is very special! 2020 was very difficult and this whole era gave comfort to a lot of people.. and we also got to see how the members were suffering and struggling with frustrations, but as RM wrote: life goes on

This is the song at that time when its came up, almost army's are cried😭..its was at the scariest time, when covid are strike and there's no vaccines yet...when we felt so isolated, angry, furious, scared of what happen.. this song was comfort us the most...they assured us that, this plague disaster someday will pass..that life must go on..keep the spirit inside, we will meet each others again soon (even tho with mask on and need 2 years later)...its very comforted and beautiful songs.
This was such a healing song. Specially after the impact of the pandemic into our lives (until today). There are people who lost their love ones... or their jobs... or their minds amidst the stressful days of the pandemic. But its as they say, life goes on. Even if you feel like giving up after losing a lot, keep going on. Always move forward, life goes on~
Jk was the director of the official music video! He took most of the photos and directed the entire thing!
This was my first comeback, as a quARMY. This song came out in the fall of 2020, and I believe was actually shot in the apartment that BTS shares. The stadium they pass is the stadium they often, and have since, play in Seoul for their live shows, so you are right on about them missing performing because of quarantine, and then being transported to a stage in an empty stadium. This video still really hits!
The view discrepancy is probably because the first video was the FIRST video that came out! The others were released later but the first day/week views for BTS title tracks tend to be pretty high!

The first one you watched is actually the main official song just like Butter and Dynamite that got released in a day of BTS comeback with new album. Other versions you watched were released on later days and on different days. It's like Butter hotter and cooler remix and Dynamite B-side and choreography version. All are official MVs but main is the first one.
Anyways I love this song so much. It's such a comfort song. I love listening to it from time to time. It was released as comfort song as the pandemic started. And you are right, he misses performing on stage in front of ARMY that's why he was looking at the stadium.

I became an ARMY right after the BE album came out so Life Goes On is very dear to my heart.
I will try and give a brief time line of BE album release, of which LIfe Goes On is the title track.
BTS released MOTS 7, with 20 tracks in Feb, 2020 and were all set to go on a world tour for an year. And then COVID happened and everything was cancelled.
We had a live from RM where he did his traditional album behind for MOTS 7 in March where he admitted that they were really upset and frustrated with everything that was happening.
Come April, we had another live from RM where he casually dropped, "so as you all might have guessed, we are working on our new album". Like no sir. You JUST released one. And thus started the BE comeback. It was such an amazing and innovative comeback, spread over 6-7 months. All through the months until the album was released, they shared behind the scenes of album making process, which they had never done before for any other album!
And all of a sudden, Dynamite was announced. And BTS came live and said it'd be their first English release. Dynamite. If you weren't there, you wouldn't know how wild it was. The first No 1. on HOT 100, two consecutive weeks on No 1. ARMY worked hard. I think we had a gazillion Dynamite performances, all different and unique. BTS and their team worked so hard.
And then came BE. Life Goes On came at a time where it seemed like the pandemic would never end. We were supposed to be done in 2 weeks, but now it was almost 7-8 months. BE is just a real gem. Each song is very precious. The members were involved in everything. From tracks, lyrics, composing, album design, MV direction (JK directed LGO), managing their schedules, their clothes and style. You can find all the BE behind stories on Bangtan TV. You could react to them if you want to, but just watch them when you find the time. They are really insightful and relaxing.
When the teaser came out, I already knew this song would hit hard. I don't know but when the official MV came out I cried really😭. I felt happy and proud of this Boys.😌😁🤗💜💜💜

Life goes on reminds me of such a hard time in our lives during COVID-19 pandemic.
BTS thinking of ARMY and making songs during COVID lock downs and quarantine to help ARMY get through it. We even got a whole album out of it “BE” which members were in charge of the whole process. The variance in views is simple to explain. They are all the same song with different scenarios, so you watch it once and you keep with the original MV.
As an ARMY it is important to us to get them the views they deserve, for them hard work we must keep them in a good position as they say in Bulletproof eternal, this ain't a ride of 7 only. ARMY goes along them, by the hand and pulling eachother in the way up. So wasting views in 4 versions equally it wouldn't make much sense.
I am never tired to listen to this song, but for me the original just make all the sense and the beautiful video behind the scenes.

I'm proud to say that Mr. Jeon Jungkook directed "Life Goes On." yes, oh yes.
The discrepancy in views is bc the first u watched is the official mv, the others are the equivalent of a remix. It’s something they released for us, but Army will give the greatest focus to an official mv or original song version.
In the Forest version was a performance of it that they did when they had a funny interview (can’t remember who with), where they had to answer questions against a timer.
For BTS, this song was for their armies also they were missing their performances
for them when Covid struck. Me - made me cry bcs missing good friends and

You would have heard this song previously in the 2020 MMA (which I just noticed isn't on your video list anymore... did it get blocked?), as well as when you watched the Permission to Dance concert where they were sitting on that moving bed, in reference to the MV. As some people noted, it made #1 on the Billboard charts, one of only a handful in a foreign language (the first since Despacito if I recall) and the first in Korean.

The number of views are so different because the first video, the main one, is the one that ARMY focused on and deliberately tried to raise the view count on during the first 24 hours. The other two are the same song, as you can see, but just different images. Since ARMY wasn't trying to raise the view count and break records on those two, most people only watched them once or twice. Also, the scenes where they were in their pajamas, both in the living room and in the bedroom, were shot in their actual dorm, where they all quarantined together. I think the couch is actually the same one that Jimin, V, RM, and JK were sitting on when they were waiting for the Grammy nominees to be announced for 2021.

Hi Guys..BTS also performed this song on Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) 2020. Suga was in recovery from a left shoulder operation so he couldn’t perform. This performance really shows how the world stoped because of Covid and there is really a nice surprise in this performance, can be found on Mnet K-Pop. That room was not hotel room but their own bedroom (jhope & jimin)and their living room in their dorm.
They just like to make fun of everything! During Covid, why would anyone be in a Hotel? That's the whole point of the song is that we were all stuck at home.
Why the differences in the views? They didn‘t release the videos on the same day. The biggest focus is on the official MV. The other versions are bonus

Nice that you looked into all the MV versions of LGO. What strikes me however, is that after over 200 reactions, you still do not have a proper sense of their ALBUM timeline. LGO is a track that is inherent to BE, the chronicles of the pandemic that paralysed the world. It goes hand in hand with the other tracks: Blue & Grey, Fly to my Room, Dis-Ease…
Not developing a timeline of their discography is why you thought MMA 2018 Idol Intro was Daechwita, when in fact Daechwita came out 3 years later! You may not read this, but I feel this is an important gap in your appreciation of their evolution, and also an in-depth understanding of the THEMES contained in their albums.
