As far as generating the revenue is concerned, I think army's "sole" purpose is to defend the nation/country (not generating revenue for its own) thus providing its citizens the opportunity to build business. But in contrast the Army is creating a monopoly of its own businesses and due to such huge resources, subsidies, benefits and power not a single Pakistani company stands a chance to compete with the army's conglomerate 🙂

All of them are behind the bars unjustly & horrors are being done to them & their families to make an example out of them. My Father is ex military . He says here army is super strict and obedient they only have one purpose to serve country and protect civilians they don't involve politics If anyone violates rule The will be under military court .
They have strict rules, my father was a govt officer of telecom before it became BSNL and guess what they had thousands of rules like they can't own any business, can't work outside, have to give information when money is spent. They were given a monthly basis money which they used to use for official works and they had to audit every penny. The same goes for defence sector. Thanks to the laws set up by India as an officer and institution people can't enjoy extra source of Money. Even now when my father is a pension holder, they have signed a bond of not working anywhere or do business else their pension will be affected

As far as generating the revenue is concerned, I think army's "sole" purpose is to defend the nation/country (not generating revenue for its own) thus providing its citizens the opportunity to build business. But in contrast the Army is creating a monopoly of its own businesses and due to such huge resources, subsidies, benefits and power not a single Pakistani company stands a chance to compete with the army's conglomerate 🙂
