    Nice job Del. Makes me want to start a build myself. Summer is tough basically because I'm seldom home. Always nice to have alternative parts.

    Thanks for showing off your awesome tee-shirt that is no longer available. 🙂
    I wish I would have watched this video before getting my kit from somewhere else. I ended up with quality issues, no instructions, and a vendor with a bad attitude.
    Thanks

    I just finished building a Tupelo last week and it sounds awesome. It's a solid kit, not gonna fall apart like a basic cigar box. I like to go DI right into the computer in addition to a mic at the guitar and it sounds freeking incredible.

    Wow I used to have that exact same router setup with the metal table, even that Craftsman "1.5hp" router!! I think mine was 1.25 or 1.75 though. It ran and ran I dont even think I personally saw its last cut.

    Awesome! I’ve been playing my cardboard “Blues Box Guitar Kit” for a while and it’s time for an upgrade soon. This looks like the one. Fretted! I want to do a shellac finish. I like that shellac is non toxic and easy to apply. Don’t know if that’s what you’re supposed to use but that’s my plan.

    Enjoyed your instructions and subtle tweaks to the neck action . I all so liked the use of passing tones in Amazing Grace . Hey check out The Blind Boys of Alabama's version of Amazing Grace

    Cool builds, tough to beat for the money. What scale lengths were they? Would love it if you could walk us through a quick lesson on your rendition of Amazing Grace!

  • @frankiemanning1743
    @frankiemanning1743 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    With them being tenor,is that a shorter scale? Does that change the tuning, like a baritone guitar?

    It’s funny I’ve been working a ton of overtime lately because we are short handed but since I’ve had plenty of cash I’ve bought several kits but haven’t had time to build them yet. When the 20% Sale was going on for the 4th I bought that Flag kit to add to my other collection of kits. When it arrived though it actually wasn’t a kit it was a fully built guitar. They actually sent me the one that they used for the pics of a completed kit on their site because there is a mark on the fretboard that is also on my guitar so I know it’s the same one. Since I’ve been too busy to build it’s been fun playing this one when I do have some free time. I’m not real sure why they did that but I’m actually glad they did although I have felt like maybe I should send them some more money because I almost feel like I stole that one. lol Great Looking Kit.

      To true, ordered a 3 String complete build from over the border for 399$ with taxes, customs, and more taxes, and delivery charges, (we’re talking two countries involved here) it was closer to 6 bills. Makes owning a collection cost prohibitive.

    I'm a little disappointed. I was hoping to see you put the kit together as it comes, not with this mod and that mod. Still, I saw enough to convince me to try one. Thanks!
